A yawn left Bon's plush lips as she laid on her stomach upon her single bed. It might be small and modest but it was the comfiest bed in the world to her. With two thick comfy pillows beneath her head she could quite easily stay in her bed all day but she could already feel the sun rising as the rays peeked through her window. She had always been an early riser, and this wasn't a thing that was going to change anytime soon. She got up ten minutes later, taking a thorough shower, shaving, and then dried herself off. She pulled on a white pair of plain lingerie and then put on a pastel yellow strapless summer dress. The torso clung to her impressive curves, whilst the skirt flared out past the hips and ended at her knee in a modest cut. Every inch of the dress oozed innocence and natural beauty. She just wasn't the type to dress slutty and wear make-up. Then again, it wasn't a surprise being raised by her father - the reverend. After drying her hair and making sure it sat in perfect natural curls, she slipped on a pair of white slip on shoes and put a white shawl around her shoulders. She quickly pinned up her hair in a neat updo with a few ringlets hanging loose to frame her face.
With a happy smile on her face she danced downstairs and made a breakfast of pancakes. It was when they were cooked and put onto her plates that her father joined her. She grinned happily at him, skipping over to place a soft kiss to his cheek before she sat down beside him to eat. She watched him dig into his pancakes before starting on her own. Bon did enjoy cooking the meals for the pair of them, and honestly, if it could just be the pair of them forever then she would be happy. Unfortunately she knew eventually her father would want her to find a mate, and who knows - she thought with dread - her father may find a new mate. Despite the fact she could not remember nor had any time to know her own mother she still did not want to share him with another woman or anyone to take her mother's place. It was this topic of a mate for both of them that Bon wanted to avoid for as long as possible. She knew she was fortunate in being a commoner. If she had come from some kind of royal or noble blood she wouldn't have been lucky this long.
With the breakfast finished she put the dishes into the dishwasher before grabbing her white purse. She gave her father a kiss on the cheek goodbye, saying she needed to go to the bazaar to purchase a few things and would meet him in church for the afternoon sermon. He of course bid her a goodbye, telling her to be safe, and then she was out the door. She stood on the street out front of her house with her head tilted upwards and arms outstretched as she felt the sun on her skin. There was a slight breeze brushing against her skin and she could hear the awakenings of nature for the brand new day. Yes, this is what she lived for each day. As much as she longed for more, to really purge herself in nature, she knew she could not. As much as her wild heart wished to gallop to places unknown she could not leave her father or bring hurt or disappointment to his heart. She was all he had, and so for the foreseeable future she knew she was tied to Isla De Los Lobos, the church, and her father.
It didn't take long to get to the bazaar, but then again she knew all the short cuts. She had been raised and born here. Despite keeping to herself she knew pretty much everyone by name and face. Sometimes it was quite easy to people watch. No one ever paid all that much attention to the reverend's daughter, and so she often saw things that perhaps were not meant to be seen. She knew who to stay clear off, and a few secrets she knew she should not know and made sure no one knew she knew. After a few twists and turns she was in the center of the bazaar with a happy grin upon her pretty face. Spotting the herbs and spices stall she skipped over to it with delight. With practicing her magic she had run out of a few ingrediants and so was here to stock up. She looked over the produce the seller had before picking out a few bits and pieces. The seller put them into a small white bag, handing it over to her as she handed over the money to the vendor. She placed the bag into the woven basket she had brought which was hanging on her left arm. She made her way through the other stalls but found herself unable to ignore the stall with scarfs and shawls.
They were so many beautiful colours, some plain, others with multiple colours, and others as sparkly as a star filled sky. The ones she liked most were the vivid colourful ones, as well as the ones that looked oriental, and of course sparkled. In the end she could not resist. She picked out a blood red one with black trimming and detailed black roses upon it, as well as a bright pink, bold yellow, firey orange, oceanic blue, and lush green colours on it as well as sparkly sequins sewn into it. She also bought a third with was black in colour and had red as well as gold detail upon it showing a detailed landscape with an chinese dragon soaring past mountains and above a lush chinese landscape. She put the three into her basket, paying for the items, with a giddy expression upon her face. Delighted with her morning already she danced down the street, humming a happy tune. She ended up day dreaming of wild horses galloping across sandy shores unknown. She was so lost in that image that she ended up running straight into someone. Flinching she rubbed her forehead as she stumbled back a step.
"Uhm, I'm so sorry."
