Wolf & Werewolf form: In wolf and were form Nate’s hair turns to a grey black. He has white fur on his stomach and splash of grey over his right eye ending just before his ear and going down his muzzle to the edge of his nose. Along his black his fur is black fading into grey along his sides and paws, his tail is a mix of black and grey with a black tip. Nate's eyes turn gold in wolf and were form though no gold is visible once he returns to human form. His were form is a bit bulky due to the muscle he retains when he shifts and it pays off in speed and resilience since all that extra muscle cushions impacts with objects and requires more force to tear all the way through to his bone.

who you really are...
Personality:
Nate is a real dependable guy who loves to help others. As the eldest of three Nate has a real big brother mentality and goes out of his way to make sure people are ok and sticks up for those who need defending. He has a strong work ethic and always pushes himself to do better and work harder at everything his does, anything worth being done is worth being done right. He loves to laugh and have a good time but he believes there’s a time and a place for that and won’t ever goof off when he’s working it isn’t professional in his opinion. Outside of his duties though Nate loves to have a good time and smile with others though when alcohol gets added into the mix he can lose it a bit and gets a little wild.
Nate has firm morals and won’t break them for anything. He doesn’t believe in getting involved with those he works with romantically but he doesn’t mind being friends with them. He also keeps his priorities straight and knows that he has to protect the king and the royals above all even himself. For all his loyalty and determination for his job he’s a real sweet heart and romantic. He’s a bit of a shy guy though he can really flirt once he gets started and every woman he’s ever dated has said he was a great guy and missed him once he left.
Likes: protecting people, laughing with the other guards, walking around the isle on his days off, swimming, running in his wolf form
Dislikes: asparagus, someone trying to hurt the nobility, liars, cheaters, back-stabbers, traitors, discourteous behavior towards the nobility

History:
Nate is the first born son to his parents Matthew and Lauren Alexander and the elder brother to his two siblings Ben and Natalie. Nate grew up on a farm in Montana working the land with his family and building the muscles he now has. Nate was close to his family though he always felt that away from them he was an outsider. He never felt like he fit in at school or with any of the kids in the town he lived in. The way he felt really spread to everyone around town and while they tried to include him in things there was always a distance. Nate envied his siblings for being able to fit in better than he was able to but never so much that he hated them, at least not at first.
Things for the Alexander family started to grow rocky as Nate reached his fifties. A guy could only put up with feeling like an outsider for so long. His family tried to console him and get the others to include him but it just never felt right to Nate. The tension in the Alexander family only grew making dinners and hunts more and more uneasy till things finally snapped when Nate was in his late sixties early seventies. Harsh words were exchanged between him and his parents as well as his sister and he and his brother Ben ended up getting into a nasty fight with both limping away. Nate just limped farther away than Ben. The further away from Montana Nate got the worse he felt about the things he’d said to his parents and especially his little sister but all the same they were thing that needed saying.
For the next twenty years Nate traveled around not really knowing where he was going except for that fact that he was looking for a place where he belonged. Nate tried having relationships throughout his travels hoping that maybe if he got close enough to the right person he’d feel like he belonged somewhere more but to no avail. In the end his relationships ended the same way with the woman dumping him because they felt he was staying to distant and Nate’s heart breaking a little on the inside because he failed to belong somewhere and because he’d hurt those women’s’ hearts as well. In every city Nate tried to settle in he always found a job that he dedicated himself to working as hard as he could and his bosses never had a bad word against him. He always got along with his coworkers and defended them when they got in trouble and helping them when they were having a hard time; nothing ever stuck though.
One thing however gave Nate hope and that was the wisps he heard of a place that he might belong and eventually he made his way to Isle de Los Lobos. At first Nate had been unsure about the place not really knowing how things worked right away but he found his place. Nate became a palace guard and has never felt like he fits in more than he does now. He still has yet to be promoted but that doesn’t stop him from working his butt off to get one. He knows that if he works hard enough Captain Dawn will recognize him and he’ll get promoted and until then he’s content with just doing his best and protecting the nobles.
