[THE LOOKS]
... don't let them get to you
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 142
Build: Curvy and muscular
Hair Color: Dark brown with highlights
Eye Color: Dark brown
Wolf & Werewolf form: Despite her slightly above average height in human form, Lenore's wolf form is a bit on the small side. However, she is very compact and muscular in this form. She has a chocolate coat with a lighter undercoat, making her underside, feet, chest, and nose a creamy off-white. Her eyes remain the same color in this form.
Lenore's were form is also a bit smaller than average, standing at just over six feet in height. Her color remains the same except for a darkening of her undercoat. As a werewolf, she is very nearly one solid color with only slight variations to distinguish where her undercoat shows through. Her body retains the muscular build of her human and wolf forms, but in her were form, her eyes darken to black.

[INSIDE]
who you really are...
Personality: Lenore is a very passionate person. She has a big personality and she isn't afraid to let people know it. She doesn't care who you are or where you come from, she won't let you take advantage of her in any way, even to talk down to her. She shows respect for very few people and only when necessary. When upset, she has a tendency to rant in Spanish rapidly, not caring if anyone understands her or not. This happens more frequently than she'd like because people irritate her in general.
Nora prefers to spend time with the horses, finding them much better company than humans or lycans. They calm her and soothe her, allowing her to think about things. They also allow her to not think at all if that's what she prefers. She never loses her temper with them like she does with people, knowing that each animal does something for a reason, unlike people who can just be cruel. She loves the feeling of connection she gets from working with horses and knowing that they trust her.
She is very organized. After becoming a lycan, her personality became volatile and unpredictable. She would often have mood swings which she is still struggling to control. Cleaning up and keeping everything in its place was a way to create some order within the chaos that her life had become. It was a good habit and she has kept up with it, never letting things get dirty for long.
Lenore likes to smile and laugh, and often does so with the horses. When people are around, however, she becomes a bit more sullen. But that doesn't mean you can't get her to laugh. Despite her behavior, she'd much rather be happy around people. She's just very introverted and feels the need to work with the horses to "recharge her batteries" so to speak.

By the age of thirteen, she was training horses on her own, showing a great amount of natural skill for it, even claiming that she'd established her own language with them that didn't use words. This confused her parents who ran the business end of the establishment, but it confused her brother even more who had no interest in horses at all. However, none of them could deny that Lenore produced amazing results when she worked with the animals. One of the mares had given birth to a foal that year, an albino, and Lenore's parents considered it bad luck. After days of arguing, they agreed to let Nora keep the foal under the condition that she cared for it entirely on her own. Girl and horse bonded almost instantly and at the age of fifteen, she was riding Blanco on a daily basis. Blanco became her best friend while she grew more and more distant with her family.
Maria and Rodrigo, realizing that they were losing their daughter, decided to take a family vacation to The States. Lenore was heartbroken to leave Blanco behind, but she knew she didn't have a choice. She could only push her parents so much and she knew there was no way to get out of the "vacation" unless she ran away. Once in California, the family traveled to many cool places, but Lenore remained unreachable. One day, while visiting a local church, the family stayed behind after the service was over. Maria told Lenore to wait in the pew while she and Rodrigo talked to the preacher. How silly of them to forget that Lenore didn't take instructions well. Following the direction her parents had taken as best as she could through the halls, she heard voices coming from an office. Lenore crept as close as she dared to listen. Maria and Rodrigo both spoke of their problems with Nora but things started getting weird when they started using words like "witch" and "cursed." It took her a moment to realize they were talking about her.
Hurt and confused, she didn't know what to do. Following her instincts, she ran from the church, but she didn't know where to go. She was only sixteen. She had no money, no means of transportation, and she was in a foreign country. Knowing she had never been close to her parents or her brother only made her choice that much easier. She started hitchiking, intent on getting back to Mexico and her home where she knew Blanco waited for her. Halfway there, she was in a truck on a deserted highway when the driver of the truck started making a move on her. She refused as politely as she knew how, but the man pulled over to the side of the road. Lenore knew what was coming, but there was nothing she could do to stop it. The man was convinced that he had bought and paid for her "company" by giving her a ride.
Lenore did the only thing she could do, and she ran. After a few yards, she looked over her shoulder and found a wolf instead of a man standing beside the truck. Letting out a scream, she ran harder, but it was no use. He overcame her in a matter of seconds, scratching and clawing at her skin as she squirmed to get away. Terrified, Nora cried and screamed for help, but they were in the middle of nowhere and there was no help to be had. Once the lycan had her firmly in his grip, she watched as he turned back into a man. Then she passed out.
For a very long time after the man had left her bloodied and unconscious in the wilderness, Lenore stayed where she was, praying for death to take her. It didn't. Instead, her senses grew stronger. She slowly started to realize that she could see in the dark and she could actually smell a town not that far off. Succumbing to her hunger, she got up and started walking. She stayed away from roads, preferring to follow her nose. On that walk, it dawned on her what must have happened, but she prayed that the rumors were wrong. He hadn't actually bitten her, had he? She didn't care to think about it, but the changes she was experiencing already were all the proof she needed. Looking up at the clear sky, she checked the moon and knew she had a little bit of time yet.
The town was small, and unbelievably filled with lycans. She knew what they were now. She could tell in the way they smelled and the way they moved. An older female in the pack took her in and cared for her, helping her through her first change and those that followed. Lenore found they had a common love of horses, and through the woman's ministrations, began to heal and accept the changes in her life. Once she was healthy and whole once more, she decided to travel to Isla de los Lobos in an attempt to get granted retribution for what had been done to her. In the end, the lycan who had bitten her was tracked down and killed for his crimes, but she still has nightmares about the incident and she has found no forgiveness within her for him. She quickly proved her skill with horses, even enough to catch the eye of the nobility. Working for the King has been the best part of her life, but she has vowed not to never be taken advantage of again.
