A mischevious grin found its way onto Bon's plump lips as she gathered up the ingrediants from the flora cupboard. It was a cupboard beneath the worktop right next to the dishwasher. A little carosel type cupboard which her father let her have to put the ingrediants she used for her witch craft. It was an out of the way cupboard which no one would really notice or have a reason to go to. It was the perfect place to put things that should be hidden. Hence why she used it for the ingrediants for some of her spells. Today she had one spell specifically in mind. She wanted to work on transporting herself. She had practiced transporting objects but that was growing boring despite the fact she hadn't quite perfected it. Still, she was sure there wasn't much of a difference between an object and her. Besides, learning everything is all about trail and error. It wasn't her fault she could get distracted. Besides, she would still be practicing. She just had to remember to be home in time to help her father with the evening sermon at the church. He would, after all, freak out if she didn't turn up. She had never not turned up before.
She put the ingrediants she needed for the spell into her hemp bag, which also consisted of her mother's spell book, before getting up off the kitchen floor where she had been knelt. Swinging the hemp bag onto her shoulder, Bon then skipped merrily out of the kitchen. She had already left a note on the kitchen table telling her father she was going out to practice and would be back to help with the sermon - as usual. She didn't need to leave a note but she felt better when she did. She didn't want him to worry. Humming a happy tune she skipped out the front door, locking the front door as she went. She continued humming as she went into the forest so she would have some privacy whilst she practiced. She kept going, skipping and humming the entire way, until she ended up in the isolated clearling in the middle of the forest. This was the usual place she came to practice. No one would see her doing it here, and there was enough space to practice any spell she came across. Well, that was the theory anyway. So far she hadn't been caught and so far she hadn't come across a spell that required more space then there was in the forest or in the clearing for that matter.
She stopped in the middle of the clearing before sitting down cross legged indian style. Bon dumped the hemp bag infront of her before gathering everything out of it. She put the empty bag to one side then, and put the book infront of her. She flipped through the pages to the one that held the transporting spell. Grabbing the bowl she had packed, she put in the herbs required before mashing them all together in the bowl. She then grabbed the vanilla scented mini candle and put it in the middle of the mash. She inhaled deeply, embracing the silence and nature before lighting up the candle. She waited until it had melted the wax of the candle onto the herb mash before she began chanting. The spell was simple enough, although the ingrediants were rarely found herbs, and hence why it wasn't done a lot - if at all. Then again, another reason was the fact witches appeared to be in hiding since Bon had yet to meet another as well as her father's reaction when he found out.
She closed her eyes at the end of the chant, and before she knew it she felt the energy she had drawn fizzle around her. It crackled and popped before it was gone completely a minute later. Opening her eyes she grinned excitedly as she saw she was somewhere else. Of course she had meant to transport herself to the beach, but she could see the Gyspy Camp not far from where she was sat. Deciding she'd chalk it up as a success, thinking postively, she jumped up with a delighted squeal. She did love it when things went right with her spells. Well, she loved it when barely anything went wrong with her spells. She was still learning and with no mentor. Dressed in a simple white strappy summer dress that hugged her torso before flaring out an inch past the hips, Bon looked every inch the innocent beauty. A pair of pastel blue sandals were on her feet, a blue belt just beneath her breasts, with her ebony curls pinned up into a loose and rough bun. Her eyes sparkled as she entered the Gyspy Camp. She loved new adventures.
