Fight for a Marriage

I had some free time and this thought came to me. >.> It might have come from just a desire for Dawn to fight.

So...Dawn's mom was raised in a roaming pack of lycans where only the strongest survive. Even if a female's wolf accepted a male's, the male still had to fight and defeat/pin the female to prove he can take care of her. Dawn's father had to go through this for her mother and even though Dawn was mostly raised as a human, her mother taught her her side of the family's beliefs.

Back to Dawn and Vaan. When the time comes for Vaan to propose to Dawn, she's going to refuse. The need for him to prove that he's stronger than her is still instilled in her mind making her wolf eager to push every boundary she can until he can defeat her as a wolf/werewolf. Not that she won't still push boundaries afterwards but anyways! It all goes back to her wolf needing to know her mate is strong enough to protect her and any pups they have.

Again, the reason this would work is because Dawn's mom was part of a roaming pack, not one that was more involved in society.

Thoughts? Ideas? Hate? Love?

Wow, I like this idea very much. Vaan will at first resist the idea of fighting dawn but over time he will give in. He will need a good talking round, maybe Summer?

We will have too wait and see what happens.

Summer would definitely be a good idea for him to have a talk with about this. I'm not sure if she made Angel go through it but she does know Dawn better than...Dawn knows herself. Also, Angel might be a decent talk to as well since they've been friends since she found him on the main land.
