A loan growl escaped the Lady of Fairnix as she stretched finally getting to her feet as she arrived in front of her child hood home. The young lycan had been finding herself in need to get out of court for a while and coming home seemed to be the best thing. Not to mention the young woman was trying to make an effort into getting her relationship with her father fixed. She wanted him in her life now even if the pups weren’t there. Part of her wanted this a long time ago but it seemed that they couldn’t really get their acts together at the time. Now, well things just worked out well and hopefully it would stay with them having a strong relationship again. Being the stubborn fierce woman she was, Nix had been too set in her ways and their relationship fell apart when she married both her mates. It had been the talk of many people for a while as to how a woman could have two mates at once. They didn’t realize that was how it was supposed to be for Nix.
With both hands on her back, Nix stretched out her back, finding that being in a sitting position for that long wasn’t always the best thing. Horseback would have been much faster however, given that she was in her second trimester with twins, that wouldn’t have been the best thing; instead the young woman took the car. Much to her dislike but there wasn’t much she could really do in this situation. Not to mention Drake would have probably killed the stable boy if he had let her have a horse. Feeling the wind through her hair would have to be saved for another day it seemed. Currently the young lycan was traveling alone. With Gabe having disappeared and Drake busy with his court work, Nix found herself heading home alone. Drake had mentioned he would join her later on in the week. Her moods had been sour lately due to not being able to really chance when the time came. For one she was worried about the pups and two, it just seemed damned near impossible. This meant that her wolf was going insane being caged up. One of the other reasons why Nix decided to head home for a while. It was secluded and she could enjoy being outdoors without having to be annoyed by everyone else.
Once she finished stretching, the young lycan kept a hand on her back as grabbed one of her bags from the car. Kaitlin was with her and insisted on taking all the bags inside, but Nix didn’t always feel the need to swamp the woman with things. After all a small bag wouldn’t hurt her, the woman wasn’t as fragile as all the others who were in her state. She never understood how anyone could even be that delicate. Shutting the door behind her, Nix headed up towards the doors, not really bothering to knock. It was her home and anyone that worked there knew who she was. Opening the door, Nix sighed inhaling the familiar scent as she unloaded her bag into a chair in the hallway as she proceeded to unbutton the coat she was wearing.

Another unexcepted surprise was exactly what Arawn needed, especially since it was the return of his beloved daughter. It would relieve at least some of his stress, well for now. Lord Frost was a beacon for stress to say the least.
Things had not improved since Nathaniel arrival, actually his mood had worsen if that was even possible. Everything, no matter how small had become a challenge. Paper work no longer chased away the frustration but just brought on a terrible headache, knowing that guard was standing nearby.
Why must the King torture him so? The lord had never denied Vaan for anything in the past, always was on the end of the phone when it was necessary. Arawn lifted his head up, looking out of the window as light streamed through the glass illuminating the room. His normally blank face, looked weary as he gazed at the rolling hills that surrounded his home.
The greenery stretched out, touching the horizon on the edge of his vision. Today was sadly another day he was trapped, bound and guarded by that hawk eyed Nathaniel. His brother wolf howled happily at the very thought of the handsome lycan who was never too far away. The lord on the other day, wished to be anywhere but here. However court was the only other option and he really did not want to be there, surrounded by mindless nobles searching for ways to climb the ladder of society.
Each one as bad as the next. The estate of Fairnix was a far better reality even if that guard followed him around like a puppy. The breeze drifted through the opened section of the window, a familiar scent caught his attention.
No.. it couldn't be, she had no reason to return here. Pushing himself out of the leather desk chair, Arawn would find out if Phoenix had come home. Had his little girl came back to see her father, like he dreamed she could? His question would soon be answered.

Nate looked at his lord sitting behind the desk. He'd been upset ever since Nate had arrived and though he'd given his lord as much privacy as he could he still seemed displeased. Nate sighed as he stood at attention in a corner of the room trying to give him as much space as he could but still protect him. Nate wouldn't lie he didn't like that he was so obviously disliked by his lord when he hadn't really done anything wrong but he knew some people just didn't like others.
His wolf was even more upset about being disliked. He seemed borederline depressed though he liked staying close to Lord Frost. Nate felt a bit like a puppy the way he'd been following his lord around but he had to and his wolf wanting to stay close made him follow maybe a bit closer than he needed too. His lord had a way of slipping off and Nate hated having to run around and find him he knew that if the Captain found out that he had to hunt down Lord Frost more than three times a day he'd get in trouble.
When his lord rose up his attention immediately snapped to him. He caught the new scent coming in through the window his eyes narrowing. Someone was here that he didn't know but another glance at his lord he found that he apparently knew whoever was here.
Nate stayed alert as he followed his lord but a part of his mind was mulling over his and his wolf's sadness of the utter dislike he was feeling from his lord. He'd been disliked before his whole time in Montana he'd been disliked but now...it was the first time he'd been disliked since arriving at the island. It was throwing him off balance he'd thought he fit in here but apparently not with Lord Frost.
He ran a hand through his hair like or not he would still die to protect his lord whether he wanted his life or not as his guard he had it. Nate followed after Lord Frost quickly he didn't want to lose him especially with this new woman arriving he didn't know yet whether they meant any harm to his lord or not.

Nix could not help but sigh when she finally made it into her home. It was nice to be back and Nix was defiantly enjoying not only the familiar scent but feeling of safety around herself. Maybe now her wolf could calm down for a while, settle even if it wouldn’t last. Lately her wolf had been wrestles not being able to come out now that she was pregnant. It wasn’t easy running around the woods anymore and thus meant having to go insane sitting still most of the time. Being home however, seemed to settle that unnerving feeling and Nix was glad to be home for now.
Opening her eyes, Nix smiled to herself as she tugged on the zipper of her leather jacket. It wasn’t that cold, but she figured having some extra fabric couldn’t hurt. The young lycan was currently wearing a long green sundress underneath finding that it was a lot harder to fit into anything she owned these days. Not only that but Nix did not find herself much of a fan of the over-sized shirts that were created for woman who were expecting. It just seemed downright wrong to be wearing something like that. Instead, the young woman invested into more dresses and loose fitting clothing. She had found herself wearing her husband’s over-sized clothing instead when she was at home. It was just that much more comfortable to be sitting in one of their shirts rather than trying to stuff herself into a pair of pants and a shirt.
Shrugging the jacket up, Nix walked over to the hall closet hanging the garment up before grabbing her bag again. She wanted nothing more than to see her father right now; however that would have to wait. It seemed that the pups weren’t going to allow her to do anything before she ate something first. Lately it seemed like she was doing nothing but eating to a point where if she didn’t stop the house might start running out of food. Despite her worry, the young woman knew it was merely the pups wanting food to grow and she wasn’t going to be denying that. Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, Nix headed down the familiar halls of her childhood home heading to the kitchen. During her journey there, the young woman had to stop for a moment taking in some unfamiliar scent that seemed to be lurking within the halls. This caused her wolf to stir, not a big fan of having people she didn’t know prancing around in a place she called home, a place she felt safe. A low growl left her lips as she turned her head down the hall opposite of the kitchen, watching the empty happy trying to pinpoint the scent.
Luckily before the young lycan could give into her wolf to track the scent to its owner, the pups she was carrying decided to remind her she was still hungry. A low growl came from her stomach which caused her wolf to calm as it started focusing on the pups instead. Her slender hand fell lightly to her stomach as she gracefully turned back around heading towards the kitchen once again. The new scent would have to wait, there didn’t seem to be any sense of danger around the estate at the moment. It didn’t take long for the young lycan to find herself back in her all too familiar kitchen, smiling warmly at the staff. Heading to the fridge, she waved everyone off when they insisted on making her something. Right now she needed to settle the hunger, later she could eat a proper meal. Grabbing some jerky, Nix opened jar of peanut butter dipping the jerky into it before munching on it.

Today was turning out to be a strange day, one Arawn had not excepted his child to return to these rather vacant halls. His Phoenix had a life away from her dear old dad but happiness shot through him much like a rocket. The only thing left to do was to find her, and like him she never keep still for long always moving. Nothing much had changed, as a child she drove Anne and him mad, not to mention the many nannies who could be found searching for the ball of energy that was Nix. It was a memory that always brought a smile to his usually frozen lips. Smiling had been something that had died with his wife but his fiery daughter was slowly bringing him back to life. With Nathaniel following his coat tails as he headed down the stairs towards the front door, only to find no-one there in the entrance hall, not even her luggage. The only thing left to do was to take a deep breath, draw in her scent and follow wherever it lead. Yes, Nathaniel had been nothing but pleasant but still the lord was trying to find something about the young man to dislike. He was kind, loyal and carried out an order to the letter, what more could anyone ask or want in their guard? This just drove Arawn on, clinging to the past and the hatred and anger that came with it. His brother wolf liked him, growling frustrated whenever was being negative about the lad but sadly he had no time to search for the answers he needed, work got in the way. The papers were piling higher and higher each time he entered his office. However with the impending nuptials of the Prince to Lady Cali this was excepted. It had been the same when the Duke had wed Lady Rachel but this felt more rushed, hurried to get the Prince to the altar on time. Not much time had passed since Captain Roseburn had turned up on his doorstep, with Nate by her side. It had less than a month and they had hardly shared more than a few short conversation but mostly this had been Arawn’s doing. Maybe Nix’s appearance would help calm the tense appearance that had arisen in this home of his. Phoenix’s scent was intermingled with another, her maid but it washed over him like a wave as it caressed the beach. The kitchen! It was understandable after a long ride that it was there his daughter would head. Turning his entire body in the direction of the west wing where the Kitchen was located. His stride wider as he rushed towards the large, modern kitchen filled with life as his staff rushed about preparing food for the evening meal. Pushing the door inwards, revealing the hustle and bustle he was used to. His lips widened, as a rare smile emerged at the sight before him. There standing before him, with a jar of peanut butter in one hand was his Nix. “Nix, you have come home! His voice no longer was flat, monotone but full of life and joy at the very sight of his daughter in all her pregnant glory. Arawn wasted no time, quickly crossed the distance between father and daughter. If glanced at the features of father then daughter, you would not see many similarities since she strongly took after Anne. For moment he forgot Nate was there, behind him as this was an emotional reunion for them both. Yes, it had not been long since they last meet in the music hall of the palace but this meant so much to Arawn, his child was home and the gap between was getting smaller with every passing day. Life was looking up for the lonely lord.

Nate followed after his Lord having to lengthen his stride as they drew closer to the entrance and then a quick fast paced walk as he caught his Lord turning and heading towards the kitchen. Nate smelt the other scent as they left the entry way. He'd come back and track that one after he was sure whoever was in the kitchen didn't mean any harm to Lord Frost.
Though from what he could see his Lord looked almost excited to meet the owner of the scent. His wolf growled grumpily becoming more depressed at the thought and Nate just pinched the bridge of his nose and hushed his wolf. It wasn't a matter for him to be grumpy especially since his Lord looked so much better smiling.
When they got to the kitchen and he made sure to move around all the hustling and bustling people, he wasn't going to get hit with a tray like he had on the first day. He reached his Lord's side as he spoke and the joy in his voice as well as the name made his wolf smile. The woman was Lady Phoenix his Lord's daughter and her scent reminded him of something that he couldn't quiet place for a moment. It finally hit him along with a pang of longing, he'd remembered his momma smelling similar when she'd been pregnant with his younger siblings. He looked away from the two as if he were checking those in the room though his eyes gave way to the slight moment of vulnerability. Nate squashed the emotions quickly and returned to his usual guard face.
At a reasonable point Nate cleared his throat and spoke. As a guard it was his responsibility to check eveeryone that entered his Lord's home and there was one he still had to check."I will be back in a moment My Lord...Lady Phoenix." He gave them each a slight bow at the waist. Even though the woman was Lady Phoenix's companion Nate didn't want to slack in his job.
Nate turned on his heels intent to follow the scent he'd caught in the entry way and assess the woman Lady Phoenix had brought along with her. Besides he felt this was a private moment for his Lord and like he'd promised him on the first night he'd arrived he would give his Lord as much privacy as he could. This moment he could give his Lord he felt he was quiet safe with his daughter.

The hustle and bustle of the kitchen was defiantly something that Nix seemed to miss a great deal. She could not help but smile at the staff as they greeted her no one having expected Nix to come back home for a visit. The young woman hadn’t even sent her father a warning that she was coming. Not that Nix felt she needed to send warning to anyone about coming home. It was after all still technically her home even if she no longer lived there permanently. As well the young Lady of Fairnix felt that it would be nice to surprise her father. Now that they had decided to work on better father daughter communication Nix figured it was be a nice change to finally do something to catch the older man off guard. Not to mention it felt right about time to be getting home for Nix. She missed the place way too much and with one of her mates missing and another often working; the young lycan wanted some company.
Normally Nix would have headed straight to greet her father finding that despite their lack of communication over the last couple of years, she still missed the man. The one person she still had in her life who loved her no matter how badly she might screw up. However, today was a bit different. The young woman’s pups had been co-coordinating where she went these days. Whether it was to the bathroom due to morning sickness, which seemed to come at all hours of the day not just morning, or to the kitchen to devour half the fridge because she was quite hungry. Right now the kitchen was her place and munching on food was what she needed to do. Who knew that eating for three would mean eating half the food in the kitchen six times a day? The one thing that Nix wasn’t too concerned about was the weight she would gain because of this. Yes it meant bigger clothing but that was expected.
While leaning against the counter, dipping the jerky into the peanut butter, Nix tried to pace herself wanting to go see her father. However, before she could do that, his scent came full force into the room causing her to look up. A genuine smile appeared on her face as she put the food down, quickly wiping her hands on the napkin as well as her face. “Father…” she managed before being pulled into an embrace she had long missed. It was nice to be the child again for once, even if it was only during an embrace like this one. The young woman finally felt like she was at home. “I found myself somewhat home sick lately and decided to come back for a visit. Hopefully my arrival isn’t too problematic.” she added knowing that last bit was silly to be saying but it was formality that kicked in no matter what.
Before she could say anything else, the unfamiliar scent was not something that went unnoticed with her. Pulling away from her father, the young lycan sniffed and made a face as she turned towards the new arrival into the kitchen. Frowning, she raised an eyebrow. “Who is this and why is he trailing after you like a lost puppy?” she asked curiously not being one to hold back speaking her mind. That and the new smell wasn’t something she liked right now. Her mere expression gave that away as she sized up the man behind her father. When Nate walked off excusing himself, Nix only raised her eyebrows further as her wolf stirred growling protective of the pups at the new presences.

His guard had finally made an appearance. The relationship between guard and Lord was still heavily strained. Arawn was still acting negatively towards the younger man, keeping him at arms lengths but the brother wolf was having none of it. Growling aggressively in his ear when he just so happened to glare at the guard when he was not looking.
The very scent of the man caused him to turn from his own child, taking in every inch of his form. The very sight of the guard excited the wolf, causing him to stir awake once more. It was now restless, wanting to break through but the lord would have none of that. Their child was here, visiting him with just her maid to keep her company. It was strange to see his dear Nix without her tag-alongs. He had only just gotten used to the sight of the twins but yet here she was without them.
It was weird, with Nathaniel by his side he felt safe, safer than before. The man was a comfort to him even though he would never publicly admit this. He was definitely ticking all the right boxes when it came to doing his job. Nathaniel Alexander was one hell of a guard and protector to have around night or day.
As quickly as he had appeared, he had disappeared. “Of course Nathaniel” He acknowledged his guard, allowing his exit before turning his attention back to his child. His home felt more alive than before. Each new life that passed through his door brought each hall more laughter, each room more light. The cobwebs in each corner than cluttered this lonely manor were being chased away.
The sweet Lady of Fairnix was home, Arawn could not be happier.
This was the chance to build was had weakened over the last few years, the communication between parent and their only child. The long years since the death of dear Anne had strained to the point that it was almost non-existent. The meeting in the music hall which reminded him of his first meeting with his former mate had started this train. Oh this was just what the both of them needed, the chance to speak and strengthen their bond once more.
“Of course not Nix, I have been craving your company. I was planning to write to you, asking you to come home for a while” This was true, the lord was missing his child and the company of his servants and more recently his new guard could only do so much for his loneliness. There was no need for just formality between the two of them but her lessons were shining through. He was proud of his daughter, his pup had taken her lesson to heart, here was the proof.
“That was Nathaniel Alexander, the guard the king assigned to me. It’s his job to shadow me at all times, let’s just Vaan is only so patient with me” He quickly informed his daughter of this new newcomer to their home. His pup was acting protective but after all she was still his daughter and he had acted the same way when his mother had received a new maid or guard many, many moons ago.
How similar they were at times but so very different during other times and situations.

Nate was still getting used to the mansion and mapping where everything was in his head. He always had to keep a close eye and follow right on his lord's heels to make sure he didn't lose him. As embarassing as it was to admit Nate had been losing his lord's trail quiet often. The whole place smelled of his so it was hard to pick up his scent and lord Arawn's fast I'm going to leave you in the dust pace had left Nate stranded in completely unknown areas of the house. With all the times he'd had to track down his lord within the past weeks though he was quickly learning the whole layout and his night walks through the house were definitly commiting everything to memory.
He headed up the stairs following the maids scent to the room Lady Phoenix would be staying in. The maid was nice enough and after Nate talked to her for a short bit he felt assured she would be fine on her own though he'd wished she'd been a little more informative about how her Lady had been doing. He knew his lord would like to know even though he would no doubt as his daughter Nate wanted to have an unbiased update on his daughter for him. Nate walked out of the room and decided to take a different way back to test himself. He'd walked through the area once before and felt he knew the way but he wanted to go through it again to reinforce his memory. He walked through the halls his wolf's eagerness to get back to his lord causing Nate to rush a bit around a few turns.
He got lost. Nate ran a hand through his hair growling slightly at himself and his wolf. He back tracked but it didn't help he'd gone to far before stopping and admitting he'd gotten lost. His wolf whimpered and Nate figured he was whimpering because of how upset Nate was with himself and his wolf. Sighing Nate kept walking the only thing he could do now was trial and error till he got back to a familiar place and could get himself back to the kitchen. Nate started running feeling like he was taking to long. He didn't want his lord to get upset or for Lady Phoenix to judge him poorly. So far Nate felt he had been doing a good job proteccting his lord there had been a few bumps especially in the beginning and considering his lord's reluctance to him following him around he was keeping up and adapting rather quickly.
Just the other day when his lord had gone out for one of his increasingly numerous walks Nate had seperated from him a moment only to catch back up to him via a short cut he'd found between the two halls. He'd felt rather proud of himself for being able to keep up though he had a feeling it had only frustrated his lord. Nate was hopeful though that the longer he was with his lord the better he would get at guarding him and hopefully the more his lord would warm up to him guarding him. As the hall way pictures became familiar Nate grinned realizing he was getting close to the kitchen. He'd started memorizing the halls by the pictures or tables in them since they all looked exactly alike otherwise. He cut down the hall and turned the corner coming in the opposite side of the kitchen he'd left.
His smile was gone as he put his business face back on even though his wolf was panting and yipping happily in his ear. There was something just not right about his wolf lately and he was really starting to think it was having something to do with that female servant of his lord's that was even now working away in the corner of the kitchen. Why else would he be acting so hyper and excited? He took his place back behind his lord standing at attention and doing his best to stay out of the way of him and his daughter.

Hearing that the new scent belonged to a guard sent by the King only got the younger lycan worrying more about her father. He was all she had left seeing as her mother wasn’t around anymore and neither were either of her mate’s parents. Regardless, she had always worried about her father and how he seemed to constantly let the loss of his mate take him over. It wasn’t healthy and she had voiced it quite a few times before. However, none ever seemed to work. Now the situation was worse it seemed if the King felt it was time to force her father into having protection around him. Normally she knew that her father was able to convince the King that he didn’t need one, her stubbornness seemed to come from her father’s side as he was quite the force to move once he set his mind to something. “I think it’s about time he finally forced you into having some kind of protection around. No matter how capable you are of taking care of yourself father, there will always be the need to have some back up.” she pointed out her feelings on the topic quite strong. Ever since she had lost her mother, Nix had always feared something would happen to her father. Finding out that her death hadn’t been an accident further drove that in the young lycan, however her concerns only made the growing gap between them widen it seemed.
Her eyes scanned over the guard before he made his exit out of the kitchen. The problem was, Nix was far too worried about the small amount of family she had left to really see that there might be something else in the mix or playing at the surface waiting for the right moment to burst. No, right now all she saw was a young guard. “My only concern is whether or not he is fully capable of overseeing that you are well protected. He seems far too scattered and simply not up to standards.” she voiced once the Nate was out of the room chasing after whatever it was he needed to do. Part of Nix hoped that she could keep the topics to just the new guard and her pups as she did not feel the need to explain why it was she had come with only her maid.
Having put the previous comment about her sudden visit to the side for the moment as she addressed the concern of the man trailing after her father Nix was brought back to thinking about why she had come here in the first place. Not only did she feel the need to get away from the court, the drama and the gossip, but she simply felt it was time to go home. Whether it was because the pups and she needed a quiet and safe place to simply relax for a while, or whether there were other reasons, Nix felt right now she’d simply say it was a visit. “Oh how I’ve missed this place. Even the pups seem to find comfort in it, they’ve finally settled down.” she added smiling as her slender hand gently fell upon her stomach. The entire journey the pups had been quite restless constantly making it hard for her to sleep or simply let her rest. Now they seemed to have settled and only demanded some food, which Nix could not provide with the greetings having already taken place. “Forgive me but the pups are demanding nourishment.” she explained grabbing the jar of peanut butter where she had left it on the counter. The piece of jerky was still inside the jar, the young lycan dipped it before taking a bite. Normally she’d wait until a meal was prepared but lately it seemed all she did was eat, whether it was between meals or in the middle of the night.
While eating, the young woman noted how long it had been since her father’s guard had left. “My impression was he was supposed to shadow you father. He’s been gone for some time now.” she pointed out not really impressed just yet. The young woman wouldn’t make it easy for the guard to gain her approval but that was simply how she was. She would have been the same way had it been insisted she have guards for her pups. Shortly after Nate appeared in the kitchen again, and Nix simply raised an eyebrow watching him as he made his way back to her father’s side. “In the time it took you to go for your little walk, several things could have occurred to threaten my father’s life. Are you sure you are aware of what your job is..” she asked harshly. The young woman was still skeptical of the guard, however her own drama’s in life seemed to be fueling her negative responses today.

The lord of fairnix was simply content in this moment. His daughter was home, back in the halls of her childhood home with her loyal maid by her side. However much was on his mind, his guard was never that far from his side and thoughts. His brother wolf whined, missing the presence of his loyal guard and shadow. Much had changed in the last few weeks alone, Arawn had brightened ever so slightly, he was speaking more and more each day.
His laugh did not sound so empty and forced, it was full of joy and happiness. Nathaniel was bringing back his smile, bringing him out of his shell that he had fallen into when his dear Anne had been killed. Hope had been lost but now it was starting to shine through, the spark was there but it soon be aflame once again. Dust was being removed from rooms that become forgotten or simply locked to preserve the life had been once fluttered in and out of that room. Memory could be a terrible thing, lingering on for years but yet images of happier time clung to life proving that there was always light at the end of the tunnel even when it seemed impossible.
No longer was there anywhere Arawn could truly hide from the keen nose and memory of his guard, he had clearly mapped out his mansion with ease, using the hours after he had retired to wander the grounds and many halls, Nothing escaped the lord of manor’s notice and ears. Servants talked, gossiped with one another and Arawn was always on the receiving end of each new thread to the latest gossip.
“Nix, I can easily protect myself but having someone always there is definitely a plus” He responded, gently reminding his daughter which one of them was the parent and which one was the child. His daughter could be overly protective sometimes. Vaan was only looking out for his lords and advisors at the end of the day, trying to keep them alive. “I know you are only looking out for my best interest love but I’m here to stay” Back up was essential, one day it might save his life later down the road. If it had come soon, it could have prevented the death of his beloved over one hundred years ago.
His daughter was picking Nathaniel to pieces. “He is young, Nathaniel is experienced in his own right, I trust Captain Roseburn’s judgement” Revealing who had chosen his guard, it had not been Vaan but his trusted captain. Dawn had proven herself over the years, she was completely trustworthy in his eyes. Maybe it was time to change the topic, move it away from Nate.
The very mention of his grandchildren deepened his smile, his face lit up. “It has not been the same without you here darling, having you home again makes me very happy” He softly spoke, happiness tightly wrapped around each letter. His eyes darted downwards, falling onto the bump that his grandchildren safely within his daughter. “I feel excited, the wondrous news you bring with you takes me back to the day your mother told me that she was pregnant with you” That day had been one of happiest days of his life, this day rivalled that feeling that surged through him like liquid happiness.
“He is making sure the mansion is safe, my dear nix please don’t think so harshly of him” Her silver tongue was lashing nastily once more. Nathaniel had not given the best first impression to his child but hopefully that could be changed over the course of her visit or stay. “Daughter hold your tongue” He snapped at his own flesh and blood, she was jumping down his throat.
“Nathaniel, I apologise for the brash nature of my daughter” His voice soften, hoping that Phoenix’s harsh words had not knocked him sidewards.
