Personality:

A kind-spirited and beautiful young lady is the best way to describe Winny. She’s always one to help out even if she wasn’t asked too. She is generally extremely shy, but is trying to break out of that bad habit by going up to people instead of waiting for them. Though, it’s much harder than she anticipated it would be, so she hasn’t made to much progress in that department.

She is constantly caught day dreaming about a richer life. Do not mistake this day dreaming of parties and expensive clothes and jewelry to mean that she is unhappy. On the contrary, she is very happy of her life with her father and never complains. For she is the epitome of the phrase “daddy’s girl”. But who could blame her for wishes she could dress up for parties and balls? The court life has certainly caught her attention, but her naivety and optimism leave her in the dark about all the politics and bad happenings that actually take place in the court. She only sees the glamor and entertainment side of it.

She is also a very curious young lady. She asks many questions and loves to learn new things. Her curiosity does get her into trouble at times for she eavesdrops on conversations she sometimes shouldn’t. Her curiosity can often be mistaken for nosiness, and it’s a flaw she is also currently trying to work on.

Dislikes:

- Getting into trouble

- Being so shy
- Being too hot, she gets terrible headaches if to warm.


Strengths:

- She’s a fantastic little chief and is really good at making new dishes up. She’s gives all the credit to her dad for this.
- Her friendliness has allowed her to make many friends, (though admittedly they are mostly much older than herself). But this allows her to have a get support group who’d stand up for her if she ever got into some serious trouble.
- Drawing. When she’s not cooking she draws. If she had more self-confidence she could probably make a lot of many by selling her paintings. But no one knows how much good she is at drawing, not even her father.


Weaknesses:

- Her shyness makes it very difficult for her to put herself out there and make friends that would help lead her into a life at the court. It also makes her very submissive and she doesn’t often stand up for herself when wrongly getting yelled at.
- She has no physical muscle what so ever, and no self-defense moves. She’d be easy prey if it ever came down to it.
- Her mother. It’s the one thing that can make her mood go from amazing to sad. It’s something that isn’t talked a lot about around her.


Family Members:

Her Father, Edric Barker. She obviously had a mother, but she doesn’t know where she is or if she’s even still alive today.

History:

April showers bring May flowers…and one year, they also brought Vinna Marie Barker. The family she was brought into was torn, and though her father wouldn’t admit it, she knew she was the baby that was supposed to fix her parents’ marriage. At least on her mother’s side. She knew her father had wanted a baby anyway, but her mother, from what she heard, was a little too carefree and didn’t like to be tied down. Just after Vinna was born, and the moment she realized a baby was a lot of work, she took off with some younger man saying she was claiming her independence and freedom. Her mother hasn’t been heard from since, so it’s always just been Vinna and her father.

Though Vinna is secretly bitter about her mother’s abandonment, she’s never felt as though her father wasn’t enough. He was the best single parent any daughter could hope for and since birth she’d always been incredibly attached to him. When she was just a baby and learning her name, for some reason she couldn’t get it right. Instead of Vinna, she always called herself Winny, which is where her nickname comes from. When introducing herself she’ll even call herself Winny. She grew up homeschooled and once more never felt like she was lacking in any area of life. Her father was a great teacher and she was too shy to attend classes anyway. She knew that if he dad had put her in school she’d have been the most miserable and unbearably shy little girl ever, so homeschooling was a blessing.

From the moment Winny could walk and talk she had begun to bake alongside her father, starting off with simple tasks like putting the butter into the bowel before gradually receiving more and more tasks as she got older. Even today she helps run the bake house and is second in command. Her main job is to cook the pastries, as that was her specialty.

Now that she is older she has begun to privately think about what it would be like to be involved with the court and get to dress up all the time. She has also started to think about romance and how amazing it would be to marry one of the princes! That was a fact that even naïve little Winny knew was impossible. Though she doesn’t see any harm in daydreaming about it.
