Morning (Dane)

Pushing his fingers through his hair, Lore sighed as he finished up the last of the breakfast that he had made for Dane. He hadn’t seen the other for a while now and honestly missed his Demon. He knew that Dane was busy with his work and his family so he had stayed away. He figured it was better giving the other time to himself. They had spent a lot of time together in the beginning and he figured his family wanted to see him alone. Lore had found himself things to do. He got another book about cooking this time from another culture. He was attempting Mercian cuisine which seemed to turn out well. Not that he really had anyone to taste test things. Usually if someone was wondering around the palace hungry and stopped in he would offer them one of his already made dishes just to get a reaction or review from them sorta speak.

From what he had gotten, his cooking wasn’t as bad as he thought it might be. This morning he had gotten up earlier then usually just so he could catch Dane before he woke up. He had asked his father if it would be okay to surprise him in the morning and as long as he was quite about it, Lore was allowed to visit. Getting up extra early, Lore quickly worked on preparing a stack of waffles with various fruits and syrup. Once that was ready, he put it on a tray before covering the plate with a lid and making his way towards Dane’s room. When he got to the suit, it seemed the guards there were aware of his visit this morning because they merely nodded before letting him in. Being as quiet as he could, Lore snuck into Dane’s room smiling when he saw that the Demon was still sleeping. Setting the tray down on the bedside table, Lore lay down beside Dane simply watching the older man sleeping for a good little while.

Dane had been with his parents the last few days talking to them about Lore and hoped they liked him. His parents were thrilled their little boy was in love and was happy with Lore. He was relieved that his parents liked Lore and would trust him with their son knowing nothing would be done to break that trust or do anything to hurt the young demon. Missing Lore he always tried to get away to see him but his parents needed him to start his duties as a Marquess something he took very seriously. Dane would leave when he could but never found Lore in the gardens or bopping around. He didn’t want to crowd his beloved lycan and wanted him to have his freedom when he needed it away from him.

Dane missed Lore’s cooking he loved the special goodies made for him. He was still sound asleep in his room his demonic powers were growing and strengthening so it took a lot out of him, so he did sleep more. Snuggling up to Lore in his sleep he had his head under Lore’s and was curled up under the covers. The adorable demon after a bit slowly opened his eyes and yawned, seeing his Lore there he hugged him lovingly. "I have missed you so much." Nuzzling his face into Lore's hair he took in his scent it was calming to him. Seeing the tray he smiled and kissed him on the lips and forehead. "I am so sorry I have been sleeping so much lately my powers are growing and getting stronger, it takes much out of much. Forgive me?" Batting his eyes at him.

There were times when Lore wished his family was still alive or around so he would have someone to talk to. For the longest time he had been alone and still was. There were days when he really got depressed having no one to really talk to about anything. Dane had his parents to talk about everything and Lore was left alone to himself. There were things he wished he could talk to someone about. Like right now he wanted to have someone to brag about Dane to. He wanted someone to know how much he liked the demon and how he was happy right now. He also wanted someone to simply know what a great person Dane was. However, he didn’t really have anyone to talk to. Often times he would find himself in his suit talking to a picture of his parents because really he didn’t have anyone there.

Watching Dane laying there sleeping, Lore just smiled and sighed glad he was able to at least know the demon. When the other man decided to snuggle up to him, Lore snickered quickly before putting his arms around him in a protective manor. He stayed outside the covers gently pushing some hair out of the others face as he watched him sleep. It was nice to see him resting like this. He figured with all the work he was doing for his duties the older man would be tired. When Dane finally stirred his eyes opening, Lore smiled down at the older man. “Morning sleepy head.” he greeted him before blushing at the kiss. He was still getting used to that kind of attention. “I’ve missed you too. Hope it’s okay that I came by this morning. Your dad said it was fine as long as I didn’t wake them.” he explained before laughing and nodding his head as he kissed Dane quickly. “You have nothing to be sorry about. All can be forgiven if you eat your breakfast.” he offered teasingly as he smiled before pulling the tray onto the bed beside them.

Dane wanted to be Lore’s best friend and his family but so much more then that. It hurt him to see that Lore was alone and knew he wanted and needed people to talk to. He really wanted to change that but didn’t really know how to. Much of the time he felt guilty that he had parents when Lore didn't. But he didn't tell Lore that and didn't want to make the one he loved feel bad or anything like that. The adorable demon was having good dream at the moment. It was just being outside with Lore and slow dancing with him under the stars. Sighing softly in his sleep he stayed right where he was, sound asleep. He didn’t snore or anything like that and was very much a deep sleeper. The just plain adorable demon for once wasn’t having any bad dreams so that was a huge plus for him.

It look him a bit longer but he did start to wake up, yawning when he spoke. Dane smiled at what Lore said to him. "Major sleepy head I think." Yawning some more he rubbed at his eyes gently. "Always love you're welcome here whenever you please and I love seeing you here...They're deep sleepers so you can come here anytime." Kissed he kissed back Dane was so hungry and sat up seeing the tray of food. "Mmmm smells yummy as always love." Starting on his breakfast he fed Lore and ate himself.

Watching the demon sleeping and waking from what seemed to be like a good dream was a pleasure for Lore. He sighed and continued running his fingers through the older man’s hair wondering how he had not become his friend a long time ago. He could have used a friend like him when his brother left, and when his parents were killed. That had been a really dark time for Lore, and at points he even tried taking his own life. However, after some needed soul seeking, he found that he wasn’t ready to end his life. Not just yet. There was too much to do and see in the world. It took a bit of time for Lore to accept he was truly alone in the world. Now however, there was a small spark of hope that maybe he cold at least have a friend to talk to granted the way they behaved around each other friendship was a few steps down.

Still playing with the old man’s hair, Lore smiled as he waited for him to finally get out of dreamland. “Good dream? You seemed to be sleeping quite soundly there love. I’ve been here for a good bit of time.” he added before blushing when Dane kissed him. Once the other saw the tray of food, Lore pulled it over to the bed, setting in down in front of Dane. When the other tried to feed him, Lore shook his head before pushing the fork back towards Dane. “No this is all for you.” he told him smiling before looking over towards the door hoping he didn’t wake anyone. It was still early and if anything he would let Dane go back to sleep. “If you’re still tired you can go back to sleep. I just wanted to spend a bit of time with you even if you are off in a dream land.” he explained hoping Dane had enough food. If he needed more Lore would make some. “I left some breakfast for your parents. I hope they like it as well.”

The adorable demon was having lovely dreams and didn't want them to go away. Purring as Lore's fingers moved more through his hair. He knew so much about Lore and he had told Lore a great deal about himself. The just plain sweet Lore was his rock and his light in dark places when all other lights went out. He never wanted to see Lore hurt in anyway, shape or form. Dane would personally make the person's life a living hell. Out of his dreamland he smiled at Lore, yawning more. "Yes very thank you, I needed it I think...Oh I hope you got some sleep as well my love." Seeing that blush he rubbed noses with him. He was so hungry and he loved Lore's food but the fact was he loved Lore himself way more.

Watching the fork pushed away he leaned his head against Lore's shoulder and started to happily eat. "Thank you love it is delicious." Not hearing his mom and dad he snuggled up to Lore. "I am good love I want to spend time with you to and if you want later we can take a nap together." He had all the food he needed. "That is wonderful thank you, I know they will like it." Dane kissed him on the cheek and went back to his meal, drinking the orange juice that was on the tray. Putting it back down he started to eat everything that was there, finally finishing he hicupped. "Excuse me." He was for once in his life stuffed and had a completely full stomach. Not wanting to eat anymore like he usually did but would be hungry again in a while that was a bet.

Lore just smiled as he sat there watching Dane eating. He was glad he had been able to make his love something to eat. Lately from what he had been told, Dane was quite busy and he hadn’t been eating well or sleeping. He wanted nothing more than to keep the demon away from the world for himself. He didn’t want him getting hungry or hurt or anything. But that was how life was and all Lore could do was catch a few moments with him as he slept and before he was up for the day. A small smile appeared on his face when he heard Dane hiccup at having eaten too fast and too much. He snickered before his eyes widened and he quickly covered his mouth. Right now the young pup was worried about waking Dane’s parents up after he made sure he promised not to make noise. “Sorry…” he whispered as looked apologetically at Dane.

Looking over at the time, Lore shrugged his shoulders finding it was still early. He had just been hoping to catch the other man before he started his day. “We can take a nap now if you want. I mean, I’ve been up early but if you need to get going to start you’re day I’ll understand.” he added taking the empty plate and tray off the bed so that Dane could be comfortable. “What do you have to do today anyways?” he asked wanting to know how much more time he had with the older man.

Dane smiled at Lore while he was eating making happy funny noises the entire time. Enjoying his meal throughly and waited for Lore to mention the fact that he hadn't been eating well or sleeping much either. But things were going to slow down for him thankfully and he was thrilled about that. He missed his Lore so much and didn't like being away from him, it was unbearable to him. Blinking when he hiccupped again he smiled and hoped he wouldn't get a case of the hiccups. Listening for his mom and dad he smiled and leaned over kissing his nose. "It is alright honey I do not hear them." Dane whispered and drank the rest of his juice, he was so very full.

Seeing the time he smiled and was wide awake now, resting his hand on Lore's cheek. "Nahhh I am wide awake and I want to spend time with you I have missed you so much..Nope love I am staying right here with you." Helping him with the goodies and put them on the end table, thinking carefully. "That would be being with my beloved Lore and enjoying myself." That was his plan for that day and for the rest of his life and threaded his fingers through his favorite pup's hair.

Lore smiled as he took in the demons happy noises while he was eating. This he found to be utterly cute. Even if he was a lot younger then Dane, there were times he found the older man quite adorable. Thinking of this caused Lore to blush. He was starting to realize that he really wasn’t sure of what to do while he knew he liked someone. The poor pup was quite lost as to what it was he was supposed to do or say on a good day. Heck part of him wondered how he had ever fallen for someone like Dane. He always remembered his parents mentioning how they wanted to see him with a cute girl yet here he was with a guy instead. Not that Lore minded, he felt more comfortable around Dane then he did around any woman in the court. When the kiss came upon his nose, Lore blushed before looking towards the door to Dane’s room. He was paranoid, he did not want to upset the others parents. He wasn’t too sure what it was like to really have parents at this age and he didn’t know how they would feel about him dating their son.

Nodding his head at Dane’s assurance that he didn’t hear them, Lore leaned over and smiled pecking the older man’s lips before blushing. He had wanted to kiss him for the longest time now and with the demon being occupied he seemed to have gone into withdrawal. “Really? Does that mean I finally get to spend some time with you? I’ve missed you greatly, and I find I have nothing to do when you’re not around.” he admitted sadly. He found lately he had no one to talk to other the Dane, and when Dane wasn’t around it was a bore. Shifting, Lore moved and straddled the demons lap, gently taking his face in his hands before he kissed him gently and tenderly. He wanted Dane to know just how much he had missed him. “I was thinking, maybe we can go for a swim, down by the cove.” he suggested hoping the demon would be up for such a day.

He smiled at Lore and kept making happy noises the entire time until he was all finished with his meal. Dane was very full and very happy to. Dabbing his mouth all clean he leaned over giving a loving kiss to Lore's lips. His parents were just happy he found someone his heart would always be safe with and didn't have to worry about their child for once but pfft he knew his mom and dad would always worry about him no matter how old he was, it was just them. Seeing the blush he smiled and hugged Lore to hm rubbing his back some. He missed holding Lore in his arms and didn't want to let him go, taking in his scent he let out a soft but demonic sounding purr but he didn't want to freak out Lore with the sound of it. Letting Lore go he brushed his thumb over Lore's lips.

Dane was quite sure his parents weren't awake, he smiled being kissed and kissed back. Sliding his arms back around his favorite pup's body he nuzzled him. "Mmmhmm, very much my love and I have missed you so much myself...I am very sorry darling I did not mean to be so busy." He felt awful about it and would make it up to him every day. With Lore in his lap he lightly moved his hands over his sides, deepening their kiss he had missed that he had gone through Lore withdrawal and hated it. Hearing that he loved the idea. "I love that idea sweetheart and I say lets have a private day together, brilliant idea." Dane was very much up for that and what made it better was it would be with his Lore.

Lore blushed not having expected the purr that he got out of Dane the moment their lips touched. He was quite taken but this and Lore just looked down wondering how he had gotten such a reaction out of him. Lore himself knew that it was hard to keep his emotions in check when he was around Dane. He found himself completely out of control on a good day with Dane. The way that the older man looked at him, or that secret smile he gave him whenever they were in a room and couldn’t be together with each other. How he had survived this long without having someone in his life, Lore didn’t know. He still wondered why Dane would want someone like him around. He wasn’t much, not even a beta pup at it either. Sighing, Lore smiled and placed a kiss on Dane’s fingers which was on his lips. He smiled and kissed it a few more times before leaning forward to capture his lips.

“Darlin’ you do not need to worry about not being able to spend time with me. I know you are busy and I understand. I just missed you greatly.” he told him before kissing along his jaw line and to his neck. He wasn’t too sure as to what he was doing, but lately Lore had been doing a lot of research. That and he was quite the curious pup. He wanted to explore everything and anything he could with Dane. When they kisses again Lore, blushed as the kiss was deepened enjoying it none the less. Still kissing the older man, Lore slipped his hand under Dane’s shirt, trailing his fingers along the man’s body.

Dane was a demon who purred and wasn’t ashamed of it or doing around the one he loved more then his life. Looking at him and lowered his head turning it, making a funny face to Lore wanting a smile or a laugh from him. Lifting his head some he lovingly kissed him on the lips again. To him Lore was a treasure and he never ever wanted anything to happen to him, Dane just wanted the one he loved the most to always be happy and safe always. He had never had anyone in his life he had been waiting so long for someone who drove his inner demon all wonky, that someone was Lore. Titles never make a difference to him he wanted someone with a good heart and soul, someone he could be himself with. Kissed on the finger tips he smiled and purred again and more when his lips were captured.

“I do worry and I hate not being around you, it makes me feel empty inside, I hate it so much. I have my powers down so I no longer have any training. I missed you beyond words. My parents were worried I would be alone the rest of my life but are thrilled and relieved you came into my life.” Dane left out a soft moan when attention was given to his jaw line and neck. Still being kissed he smiled when he felt Lore’s hand under his shirt touching his skin. “I love you so much.” Whispering into his ear he never wanted to loose Lore it would kill him if something happened to his beloved Lore, he wouldn’t handle it well.

Lore couldn’t help but quirk an eyebrow as he listened to Dane purring. That was something he had defiantly not expected especially not from someone like Dane. However he found it adorable at the same time. He could not have expected such a thing but the smile on his face only showed how much he was enjoying it. Laughing, Lore kissed him back just as lovingly enjoying the cute moment. He was glad to finally be able to spend time with the one demon that was the center of his universe for the longest time now. He hadn’t been this content in a while and it was nice to be with his friend again. Part of him still wondered why Dane was even putting up with him. However, he didn’t question it right now. He had other things on his mind right now and spending as much time with Dane as he could was one of them.

”Well there are times when we can’t be together but I understand that. I’m glad you were able to get your powers under control. So what does that mean you can do now? I mean with your powers and all that?” he asked curiously as he threaded his fingers through Dane’s hair. His wolf was growling in content to be this close to Dane again. The mere scent of the demon drove him wild and at a point Lore could not control his wolfs needs and wants. “Well for now you have me. Hopefully it won’t just be for a short time but I would understand if you found someone better. I’m not exactly alpha male here. Hell I’m so far off the totem pole I have my own far away from everyone else.” he admitted before continuing to kiss along his neck. “I love you too..” he whispered back biting his lip before he pushed the fabric up on Dane’s body wanting to get it off. He stopped for a moment looking at Dane wanting to see his reaction to what he was doing. Wanting to make sure he was okay with it.

Dane blushed being heard and just smiled, what he could he do the adorable demon made himself heard. He was quite an unsual demon but it was all good to him, his parents and his friends loved him and Lore loved him no matter what. Playfully nomming Lore on the mouth he sighed happily, not moving from his bed and didn't want to have Lore out of his lap that wouldn't make him a very happy demon. Lightly moving his hands along Lore's back he nuzzled at his neck sniffing at his skin. That scent was driving the demon bonkers and wanted to just roll around in his scent to keep it all over him. He loved Lore more then anything and never wanted to be without him. Resting his cheek against Lore's he held him protectively close to his body.

"Yes and I understand that myself but we'll never be apart like that again I will make sure of it..As am I Lore as am I..Well I'm able to rip fire straight up from hell, weild fire better and do other important demon power stuff but most of all I can protect you better and other people I care about." Leaning his head into Lore's fingers his inner demon wasn't letting Dane forget the needs and the wants of a demon. "No it will be for the rest of our lives my love, when the time comes I wish to marry you if you will have me...Titles and status mean little to me I love you for you and no one or nothing will ever change that." His skin was all goosebumped and helped take his shirt off, shirtless he smiled and playfully tugged on Lore's shirt seeing if his beloved would let him take it off.

Lore’s eyebrow shot up as he listened to what Dane was telling him. His knowledge about demons was very small. Anything he had read about them in books was as far as it went. Not surprising, there weren’t many books about demons written. Lore thought that this was simply because they wanted to keep their existence and their powers to themselves. That or he wasn’t that great at finding the right books or literature about it. Hearing what Dane could do now was amazing to him. He was beaming with pride as he looked at the demon a giant grin on his face. “Wow, you can do all that love? That is amazing! You’re going to have to show me some of it sometime. I would love to see that.” he told him leaning forward to press another kiss to Dane’s lips. This one was longer and sweeter as he continued to beam with pride at how much the man had been able to accomplish in the time they had spent apart. Hearing Dane’s other plans for the future, Lore cupped his face in his hands looking him straight in the eyes. “How about we let faith and life decide what will happen in the future. If we are to marry one day, then we will. Right now, I want to enjoy all that I have with you.” he told him a small smile on his face.

A blush came upon his face when he leaned back to let Dane take his shirt off. He was going on his instincts right now letting his wolf take the reins. Normally Lore would not instigate anything but his wolf was a bit more confident then he was it seemed. Right now, he wanted nothing more than to be closer to Dane. He seemed to be the only person who wanted him around in his life and Lore was going to try and hold on to that as much as he could. When Dane tugged on his shirt however, his blush grew as he bite his lip hesitating for a moment. “I’m not that appealing to look at…” he warned him. He was not only clumsy but he was quite skinny. To the point where it seemed like he wasn’t eating anything when in fact he was. This was just how Lore was made up and it often made him look like he was sick. Taking a deep breath, he sighed before pulling his shirt up over his head. Biting his lip, Lore looked down at his hands for a moment not really wanting to see Dane’s reaction.
