Personality:
Elina is a very duty bound young woman. She takes her title seriously. As a lady of the court she has duties and responsibilities to her family, and not just marriage. That's probably the one repsonsibility she doesn't take seriously. But all other duties to her family and court she does take seriously. If she's asked to do something she does it. She may not be very pleased, but seldom does she actually voice her displeasure.

Though Elina can be very serious at times, she does have a very playful, fun side. And she loves to flirt with the men of the court. It was always fun to mess around and flirt a little. Especially when you had the suitors tripping up all over themselves. She doesn't however, sleep with many men. She's only had a small handful of lovers in her 8 decades. And she most certainly doesn't sleep with man whores. That particular habit comes from her father. Her mother never said anything about how George slept with mistresses while on trips to England, but Elina knew, and she refused to fall prey to such ways.

History: Elina is the first born of a third generation Greek family. Baron George Cali has been the head of his family since he was barely an adult. And he only married Althea out of a need for a wife. There was no love between them. Only a duty. A duty to give him children, but his wife has yet to give him a son. The two met while George was visiting Isla De Los Lobos. He had heard it was an appropriate place to find a wife, and find a wife he did. And he only married Althea Burgeon out of a need for a wife. There was no love between them. Only a duty. A duty to give him children, but his wife has yet to give him a son.

Elina and Helen never really saw their father that much. He was always in England doing some sort of buisness, while Althea and the girls were on Isla de los Lobos. Althea did not want to go back to England. She was always so miserable up there so the two of them agreed that she and the the girls would stay on the island while he went to England for buisness. Of course, this allowed him to sleep with his mistress in England. Althea knew about her, but she never said anything, nor did she care. She was happy along as she was with her daughters.

So Elina grew up on the island. She was put through all manner of lessons from reading and arithmetic to proper Court etiquette. The usual things a daughter to court members were taught. Some of them, Elina did not enjoy, but she took whatever responsibilities were given to her. She didn't like shirking her responsibilities. She was a very duty bound girl and she jsut didn't like turning away from those responsibilities. She took to her piano and dancing lessons the most. She enjoyed music. She enjoys every aspect of music. Real music. Not that pop mess they played these days. Real music like Beethoven and Bach and Mozart.

Of course, Elina always enjoyed her fun as well. As a matter of fact, she could be a big flirty, tease. She has attracted many suitors over the years and though she has taken some as lovers, they generally didn't last long. She was too strong willed for their liking. Her lively personality seems to be just too strong for all her suitors. Her habit of flirting with men then shooting them down has even extended to Prince Henry on many an occasion. What she doesn't know is that her father is looking for a husband in England for both the girls. He's sick of Elina's messing around and Helen has just refused to even flirt with any of the suitors that have come a courting.

Elina has kind of had her eyes on Prince Henry for a very long time though. She just refuses him because she knows very well what he does around the court. Fooling with other women. She refused to share a bed with a man like that. For now she would just enjoy herself with flirting and tempting.
