Eva sat at a lovely wrought iron table, resting in a matching chair with some food sitting in front of her. She wasn't really hungry, but she knew she needed to eat for the pups. A hand laid over her bulging belly in a protective manner as she sat there with a platter full of fried seafood and fries. She had tried to find Raphael, but he was off somewhere talking buisness with several people. Probably Lord Frost and Duke Niall. They were Eva and Rafe's strongest supporters, which was a very good thing if you asked her. Having the support of the King's son meant they might have a chance yet. She was still nervous though. Nervous of the chancellor. She couldn't imagine what the man could possibly gain by going against her case, but apparently he felt he would gain something out of it. Brown eyes were focused on the waterfall that laid across the way. She wasn't really watching it though. She was thinking. She hadn't touched the food that sat in front of her for fifteen minutes now, and she had barely even acknowledged the servant that brought it to her. She just had so much on her mind lately. She knew it wasn't healthy for her or the pups to be worried and stressed, and she tried to keep as relaxed as she possible. She didn't want Rafe worrying over her. He had enough worries as it was. He didn't need the added worries of her and the pups. She finally broke her gaze away from the waterfall as she felt a sharp jab to her belly. She stroked the area tenderly, murmuring sweet nothings to them in french for a few moments before she looked up to the food. They were hungry, and she realized she was as well, so she picked up her fork and used it to cut into a crab cake that was buried under a pile of shrimp.

Flipping her hair out of her face, Rachel glanced out the window of her room while crossing her arms over her chest. Taking a deep breath in, she released it while skimming her eyes over the grounds of the castle. She was mostly keeping an eye out for her daughters but was having a hard time pin pointing them. They had more energy then she wanted to think about half the time. Of course, she loved them too much to ever really scowled them for leaving their teachers in the middle of the day. They were still young and have plenty of time to be taught mindless history or math.
A hand reached out and traced one panel of glass while her mind quickly flipped over to pondering what her mate was up to. Richard was constantly being buried under papers mostly because his brother was a lazy good for nothing asshole. Her nails scratched at the glass thinking about digging her claws into his face. Shaking her head, she knew doing that would cause more problems than solve them, maybe she’d come up with a better plan to kick his butt into gear. Movement by the pool caught Rachel’s attention making her hone in on the two bodies down there. One, a servant carried food to a table seated at by none other than Eva, a dear woman who was in a bad situation and had come to Richard for help. They were trying their hardest to support her cause but the damn Chancellor was standing in the way. Something that truly puzzled Rachel.
Turning away from the window, Rachel made up her mind to go see if Eva needed a little company to pass the time. It had to be a tough time for her given being pregnant and a slave trying to gain her freedom. She had a hard time trying to imagine the amount of stress the woman’s body must have been going through. Opening her door, she passed a few courtiers giving out polite smiles where they were needed and growls at those were even attempted to thumb their noses at her. She was still very young and holding a power position of power, Rachel knew what others without the proper intelligence would think of her situation. Let them think what they want, she was happy with the life and how it was going so far.
Entering the pool area, Rachel sighed softly as the sun kissed her skin warming it instantly. “Mind if I sit with you?” Rachel smiled at Eva while nodding to the seat on the opposite side of the table. Of course, the woman had every right to say go away, she’d understand if the woman was going through mood swings.

Eva ate in silence, watching the waterfall thoughtfully for a bit before she looked down to her bulging stomach. The pups were setteling down a bit now that Eva was eating. They were just hungry. It was understandable considering she didn't eat much of her breakfast when she woke earlier this morning. She always woke when Rafe did, at the crack of dawn, but she could usually turn over and curl back up to sleep once he convinced her to stay and rest. Not today though. She was on edge today, and she didn't know why.
She looked up from her food as she heard someone enter the glass enclosure. She relaxed a little more at the sight of Rachel as she approached Eva and the table. A slow, easy smile spread across her lips and she nodded lightly. "Not at all, mademoiselle. " She said in that smokey Cajun accent. She had met Rachel a couple of times since her and Raphael's arrival. Eva liked her. She had the pleasure of meeting the Niall's eldest daughter, but she hadn't yet met their youngest girl. "The girls are doing well?" Her voice was gentle. She was feeling a little more mellow now that she had a little food in her stomach. The pups were calm as well for the moment. That didn't usually last very long though. She supposed they picked up on her emotions and tended to act out towards them. They were usually much more calm when Rafe was in very close proximity.

There seemed to be barely any hesitation from Eva for her to partake in the small feast by the pool side, so Rachel felt more confident she wasn’t intruding on a private moment. “Thank you.” Easing herself into the chair across from Eva, Rachel sighed from finally off her feet for a moment. She tended to stand around too much trying to keep up with her daughters or tried to sort out whatever stupidity decided to come her way. Relaxing, her shoulders slouched slightly as she allowed her body to stop being so stiff afraid someone would misread some subconscious body movement she hadn’t even noticed she’d made. Smirking, she laughed slightly at the question. “They better be doing well. I lost track of them a few moments before coming down here.” If Nevaeh knew what was best, she’d keep her younger sister as far from the King and court as possible. That was a meeting she was going to be around for incase one of them opened their mouth a little much about the things Rachel said in the privacy of their rooms. Also, she didn’t want Vaan getting the idea her daughters were toys for him to use to gain some advantage. And if the Chancellor ever go that idea in his head, someone had better be guarding him ever damn night because Rachel would slaughter him.
Leaning back in the chair, Rachel crossed her leg over the other and gave Eva a very good hard look over. The round belly was the most striking feature about her now since it had grown a deal more since they had last seen each other. Not that she was calling Eva anything but breathtaking. It was no wonder Raphael was so taken by her. The slightly older woman had looked moody when she had first arrived but now she definitely looked calm. “The better question is how are you? And the pups?” There wasn’t much doubt in her mind the pups were indeed Raphael’s; her sharp nose didn’t just work on lies.
Sitting forward, her finger plucked a shrimp from the tray and chewed on it happily, savoring the plump meat teasing her taste buds. Nothing like a little seafood next to the pool where a body could smell the chlorine. It was almost like being on the beach. Almost. If Richard had more free time she would have loved to take the girls to the beach more often than once a year.

She chuckled softly as she sat up a little, being careful to not let her large stomach knock into the table. She always felt so unwieldy with such a large belly. "As I remember I was a live wire myself when I was their age. I'm sure they'll stay out of trouble." She said congenially as she sipped at her sweet tea lightly, enjoying the sweet taste. It had been so long since she had sweet tea. It was always so good. Especially on a hot, summer day with a fresh squeeze of lemon and a lemon wedge soaking in it.
She looked up to Rachel, her features relaxing into a bit of a tired look. "I'm...... anxious.... And I feel like every day I grow I'm even more exhausted." She glanced down to her stomach as one of the pups kicked. "I have to assume the pups are well as much as they move about in there. You'd think they had constant kick boxing matches." She smiled lightly as she looked up to Rachel. She was a bit larger since she first arrived on the island. That day was a long, nerve wracking day. She had been so thankful to arrive in the privacy of her and Rafe's suite. The two of them just relaxed and talked in a nice long bath. She knew she hadn't been the most welcoming when she arrived on the island. Could you blame her though? She was almost six months along and she spent a very long plane ride nervous. She had her reasons to be nervous to. Her and Rafe were running from her owner. She'd been afraid he would find her, so far she seemed to be safely tucked away.
She studied Rachel thoughtfully as she dipped a scallop into the tartar sauce before popping it in her mouth, letting the tart of the tartar sauce roll around and mingle with the salty breading and taste of the meaty scallop. "I can not thank you enough for yours and your husband's support, Rachel." She said softly as she shifted in her seat in an attempt to relieve some of the pressure on her back. She knew they still had to get past the Chancellor, but her and Rafe stood a much better chance with their case with the Duke and Duchess on their sides.

“You never quite get use to the protruding belly.” Laughing softly, she meant no harm in her words but understood the struggle the other woman was going through right then. Being pregnant and having your stomach swell four times it’s normal size was a blessing and a curse. As soon as any woman did get use to it, the pups were ready to be born and the large belly was gone. That experience had left her off balance for a few days after both births. Picking up a glass, Rachel poured herself from tea, smirking at Eva’s words about the two girls. It was amazing how intone they were to each other, they could almost pass as twins at times. Her pups were two bright healthy girls and even through boys would have been more smiled upon, she was simply happy they were breathing and running around. “I wasn’t. Makes me think they get it from Richard, but he won’t own up to it.” It still made for a great way to tease him right before bed.
Wrapping her lips around the rim of the glass, she savored the tea like she had the shrimp. She’d been too stressed lately and hadn’t enjoyed much of the finer things in life. There was no one or anything to blame but herself. “Enjoy the quiet now. When they come out you’ll be wishing they were still in you and you were simply exhausted.” The words were spoke in a light hearted voice without a mean bone behind them. Rachel was just speaking from her own experience with her two girls. She only hoped Eva got more support from Raphael then she had from Richard. Damn his brother to the nine circles of hell. “Just means they’re fighters. Nothing wrong with them having a little strength in their legs. Luna knows they are going to need it in this world.” Sighing, Rachel took another sip of the tea before placing it on the table. Once more, she leaned back in the chair but casted her eyes off to the waterfall.
Turning her eyes back to Eva, she smiled at the thanks given. “Thank me after we win your case. Because if we don’t, I’ll feel like a terrible friend to you and your mate.” And because if they didn’t win, they would all be forced to see that smug look on the Chancellor’s face every day. Rachel didn’t know if she would be able to handle having him make that expression anymore than he already did. He was a snake dressed in Lycan skin in her eyes, a snake that needed to be sliced up and put on a spike to roast over an open fire.

She laughed softly, stroking the protruding belly, which was actually larger than most women would be at six months. That was the downfall to twins. You got two times larger than other women when you were heavy with twins. " Indeed. I feel so unwieldy sometimes. I'm afraid to walk around any places where breakables are." She said calmly, as she sipped at the tea lightly. It was true. And she wished she could see her feet. Her and Rafe's servant had to help her get her shoes on because she couldn't bend far enough over and she couldn't see her feet.
She smiled weakly and nodded her head lightly as she stroked at her belly soothingly to try and quiet the rowdy pups. It would always seem that Rafe had the magic hands in that department. They always calmed when he rubbed her belly, but they hardly ever settled down when she tried to sooth them. "As much as a nusance their rowdiness is, it gives me some comfort to know they're fighters." She said lightly as she nibbled on a fry. It did comfort her a little that they were fighters. They had to be to survive this life.
She met Rachel's gaze, nodding her head lightly. That was what worried her the most. What would she do if her case lost? She couldn't go back to Pocket. He would murder her without a second thought to the pups. He didn't care bout the pups. As a matter of fact, he would probably kill her then slit her open and take the pups out. She took a deep breath and looked up to the aviary that was next door to the pool. "I don't know what me and Rafe will do if we lose." Her tone was weak, worried. Of all the things she worried about, that was the one thing that scared her the most. He would find them eventually, and she knew Rafe was willing to fight, but Eva really did not want it to come to that.

There was no stopping the smile from glowing off Rachel’s face watching Eva stroke at her stomach lovingly. Yes, she knew that look on her face all too well. There was something about any pregnant woman who was caring the pups of the man she loved that seemed to radiated off her skin even when she was being moody. “If you do feel like walking anywhere breakable might I suggest Lady Adrienne’s room.” A sly grin took over the smile on Rachel’s face while she imagined taking a baseball bat to that woman’s room. Oh the fun and amount of stress she would relieve by going just that. The temptation was almost too great. Picking up a bit of lobster tail, she dunked it in some butter before her mouth made short work to chew the tender meat.
“We will figure something out as a backup plan.” Rachel couldn’t imagine turning this woman over to the man who claimed ownership over her. As much as she wanted to tell her she wouldn’t let her be returned to that man, Rachel couldn’t slip up too much information. There was no way of telling which servants in the area were to be trusted and which needed to be tagged as the enemy. In a bizarre way, she was seeing this woman as a very dear friend of hers, almost a sister, even if she was in a different family/house. She really had a hard time not hating every man or woman that claimed to own someone. It must have all stemmed from being shoved into a marriage by Vaan to his own son. Thankfully, it hadn’t been some marriage she held no power or love in. She’d gotten lucky in the arrangement and thanked whoever was watching over her every day for the help.
Reaching across the table, she placed a soft hand over Eva’s not liking the way her voice was filled with such worry. She was carrying two Lycan pups who were likely well sync with her emotions, getting worried anymore might set them off into kicking her stomach harder to protect her. “No harm is going to come to you or the pups while your case is being reviewed. Keep that in mind. It would be an insult to the King if someone came here and hurt you or even Raphael before any decision is made.” She hoped those words put her at ease if only slightly.

She smirked, imagining herself weilding her bulging stomach about to topple over gorgeous vases and paintings and photos. "Oh, trust me. I'd enjoy nothing more than trashing that perra's suite." She said calmly as she stroked her belly. Oh yes, she ran into the King's whore already, and she quite enjoyed ruffling up her feathers. The woman was so vain and snide that it irked Eva to the ends of the earth. Eva hoped she could be there the day the King kicked her off that little pedestal she had herself on and replaced her with someone else. Nothing would please her more. Well, her pups would, but after her pups, nothing would please her more.
She nodded her head weakly. Yes, they would come up with something. Eva felt a huge weight lift off her shoulder when Rachel said that. It meant a lot to her that she could find a friend here. She knew there were plenty of people that you couldn't trust, but Eva was starting to trust Richard and Rachel Niall. She would be her biggest allies in her campaign for her freedom.
Her eyes lifted to Rachel and she gently turned her hand over, wrapping her fingers around Rachel's and squeezing them in answer. She knew it did neither her nor the pups any good to worry, but it was hard not to. "Thank you, Rachel. " She said softly. She let out a soft grunt and winced, releasing the she-wolf's hand lightly. She looked to her stomach, not only feeling a jab, but seeing a slight movement. She looked up to Rachel, smiling faintly. "Would you like to feel?" She asked gently, gesturing to her belly. It had been some years now for Rachel since she felt the movement of a child within. Eva wondered what it was like. She knew Rachel was still capable of having more children with Richard. That knowledge made Eva wonder if Rachel ever thought of having more children.

“That’s almost worth the King’s wrath to fulfill that day dream.” Laughing, Rachel threw back her head sending her hair flaring behind her back. The look on Adrienne’s face would be priceless after going into her room for some trinket given by the king only to find everything in pieces around the room. It was about time that bitch learned her position was temporary. She would be thrown out by the King’s bordem soon enough. Why else hadn’t he chosen her to be his new queen? It was easy to see while in the court Vaan’s eyes roamed around seeking out newer younger bodies to appease his lust.
“You have won my trust just as I think Raphael has won Richard’s.” And once her trust was given, Rachel would stand by that person whether it was family or friend. She would stand by Eva’s side while the King demanded answers to questions that would likely be too private for even a bedroom whore to speak of. The only real chance the case had before Vaan was Richard being his son might have more say then the Chancellor. It was no contest which had more faith from the king, his son naturally. At least, she hoped for Eva’s sake it was Richard and not that snake of a Chancellor.
Squeezing the hand slightly, Rachel tried to put as much strength and stubbornness into that small touch as she could. At the grunt, they both released hands making her wonder if the pups were giving her too much trouble. If they kicked too hard there was a slim change something inside Eva’s body could be damaged. Giving birth to Lycan pups was hard enough, anything added on top of that would lead to the mother’s death. “I would love to.” Rachel leaned around the table slightly to place a tender hand over Eva’s stomach. A warm smile filled her face feeling a soft kick under her hand, it even made her laugh softly. Slowly removing her hand, she had to wipe the couple tear drops from her eyes to avoid embarrassing herself. The idea of having another pup would spring up in her mind about once a week if not two. But it was hard working around Richard’s schedule and when she was fertile for the perfect moment. As much as it was painful to give birth, she loved children and wanted at least three more with hopefully one of them being a boy.

She laughed and shook her head of wild, dark locks softly. "That's easy for you to say. I on the other hand will have to watch my step around here. I imagine Vaan will not think very well of me when he discovers how I put Madam Boudoir in her place the other day." She said calmly as she picked up another scallop and dipped it in her tartar sauce, being sure to get plenty of it on there before popping it into her mouth and happily savoring the taste. She's been craving a lot of fried foods lately. Especially onion rings. Oh, goodness. She might have to ask her servant to see if she could get her some onion rings.
She smiled softly, nodding her head softly. " I respect that trust very much. I will never willingly break that trust." She met Rachel's gaze before she looked out over the pool thoughtfully, twiddling a fry around lightly. She studied the waterfall thoughtfully in silence. She found it very soothing, which always seemed to help sooth the babies. Perhaps that was her problem lately. She was getting herself too stressed and the pups were picking up on it. Maybe a trip down to the beach was in order. It was only a short little walk down the path after all.
She smiled warmly to Rachel as she lightly laid her hand over Eva's belly. She smiled softly as she felt a foot lightly flutter against Rachel's hand. Eva looked over her face thoughtfully, smiling warmly. "They're always so restless. I think they only time they're calm is when Rafe is close by." She said gently, stroking her belly softly. She knew it could be dangerous for them to be so active. She heard of incidents where babies had caused serious injuries, and lycan pups were even more capable of doing such things with their added strength. "I don't suppose you have any suggestions, do you?"

A large grin appeared on Rachel’s face hearing that someone had finally snapped at the whore. In all truth, it had been a decade too long for Adrienne to be around and everyone knew it. “Did you really? Do tell.” Leaning forward in her chair, she placed her elbows on the table top while her chin rested in her hands. There was no hiding the eager look in her eyes wanting to hear this story all too much. Not that she wanted to spread it around, but for her own delight she wanted to hear this story in detail. Sniffing the air, her eyes spotted her favorite dish in the world and almost began to drool at the sight of the golden brown chicken lightly dusted in rosemary. She picked off a drumstick and with as much etiquette as had been pounded into her mind, she chewed slowly around the bone keeping a tight grip over her savage nature that wanted to devour the whole thing in one bite. “You never really know how Vaan will act. He might laugh about the whole situation. I think he gets off on Lady Adrienne getting worked up over something.” Arching an eyebrow, she smirked clearly implying exactly what her words meant. Placing the cleaned bone on another tray meant for scraps and waste, she continued to wait patiently for the story of how the gold digger was slapped off her high and mighty pedestal. If Rachel wasn’t so worried about her daughters getting the backlash of anything she might do to that woman, she would have slapped her literally years ago…with her claws to mar her perfect skin.
Rachel smiled back and nodded at the small pact placed between the two women. It felt good to have someone she could really trust around the castle. The women in court would have sold her out if it somehow benefited whatever they wanted to gain. It left little room for Rachel to be overly friend while getting to know some of the women; of course she put on sweet smiles and light hearted chatter about mindless things. She bet the way she acted towards some of them made them think she was an air head and so be it, it worked better in her favor if she was underestimated. Because when the time came for her to take a stance, they wouldn’t see it coming.
The sound of giggling caused her to turn her head just in time to see her girls run by heading towards the garden. At least she knew where they were at now. They should have been inside being taught by their teachers, but it was too nice a day for Rachel to nag them about that small detail. Richard might say something, but there were ways a woman could easily make a man forget about something. “They were mostly restless around the full moon as if they knew I should have been running instead of sitting around the garden staring up at Luna. For them, lavender and lilies seemed to calm them down. Maybe because those two flowers together completely turn me to mush so they fed off my very loose state.” Her eyes roamed around the area checking each crack for servants or anyone that looked like they shouldn’t have been there to hear that small bit of information. Rachel wasn’t kidding about those smells turning her into mush. It was almost like a tranquilizer when those fragrances clouded her nose, her body completely turned into rubber.

A mischievous grin crossed her lips as Rachel said she would love to hear that story. "Oh, well, just a little.... conversation in the gallery." She said nonchalantly as she sipped at her sweet tea. "Apparently, she's under the impression that I was here to steal 'her throne.'" She glanced up to a turret that was visible from their spot at the pool. She still didn't quite get that. What could Vaan possibly see in Eva when she was as fat as a cow? She knew Rafe thought her beautiful, but he was her mate. They may not officially be mated to each other, but he was not only biased. He was supposed to say she was beautiful just to keep her from feeling like such a fat cow. "I just simply taught the little chienne that where I come from we treat others as they treat us." She grinned knowingly, looking up to Rachel with a mischievous twinkle in those chocolate pools.
Eva could not help but let out a soft snicker of amusement at Rachel's theory. "Well then, I'm glad to have given King Vaan something to do with his woman." She grinned a scandalous grin. She was glad she was not the only one who disliked the King's Whore so much. Eva got the feeling the woman would not last much longer. Especially aver the rumors she heard going around. "Is it true he's losing interest in Adrienne Boudoir?" She asked calmly as she nibbled on a couple of ketchup smothered fries. Not that Eva was really looking to replace Adrienne in any way. She just wanted to know. She to see if she would be around to know the brat of a woman was knocked from her high pedestal by a younger woman.
She glanced over her shoulder as she heard the childish giggling, watching as the Niall daughters scampered about to the garden. A warm smile crossed her lips as she stroked at her belly thoughtlessly. Eva nodded her head lightly as Rachel told her what had helped to relax her and the pups when she was pregnant with her daughters. "Mmm I miss running under the full moon." She murmured softly, hand lightly stroking her stomach soothing. Six months of no changing was a hard thing to fight. Especially on the full moon, when la lune's pull was the strongest. She looked back to Rachel after a moment, smiling softly. "Well, I suppose I will have to take more long bubble baths. Those always seem to help calm them." That sounded like an excellent idea

“The gallery? Oh hun, if you ever want to get in a cat fight with that cow don’t do it in there. Those walls have ears.” For a second, the large grin on Rachel’s face faltered nearly falling clean off her lips. As much as she wanted to applaud Eva for kicking Adrienne back into place she could have picked a better location to do so. But the smile did come back to her face hearing the other words come from the female Lycan. “She thinks everyone is out to steal Vaan from her, not because she loves him but because of the throne. I swear, if I wasn’t mated to his son with two kids she might think I was trying to pull the rug out from under her dirty feet.” Sometimes, she did feel a very cold glare thrown at her from the whore but it might have been her imagination. There was a chance Adrienne did fear Rachel might try to find a way to take the throne so Richard could rule, but she really had no interest in ruling. She was content being a Duchess mated to the younger son of the King. With two beautiful daughters, what more could she ask for? She laughed this time, nodding in agreement with how Eva had given that woman a lesson in being ‘civil’. “I’m very tempted to follow your example instead of being the sweet Duchess I play in the court.” For the most part was in real life a sweet person, she disliked the games played in the court and knew the only reason she stayed around was for her mate and out of loyalty to her father – in - law.
“It’s the only thing she’s good for.” Picking up her glass, Rachel sipped at it, hiding her own grin knowing she was slandering that bitch’s name, but didn’t really care when she did it to everyone else. If her marriage hadn’t been arranged years before Adrienne had appeared there was no telling the nasty little rumors she would have spread. She refused to be naïve about the games the King’s Whore used to gain an unfair advantage when competing for attention in the court. Licking her lips, Rachel took the time to pick her words carefully. “Let me put it this way, King Vaan’s eyes have been wondering around the court lately, not pausing more than three seconds on his whore.” This time, her fingers picked up a chocolate chip cookie to balance out the decadent flavors with something a little sweeter. In time, she wondered how much longer Adrienne had as the King’s Whore before she was brushed aside.
In her mind, Rachel willed her daughters to stay in the garden and not peek in the Throne Room to try and catch a glimpse of their grandfather. She knew they were naturally curious about the King, but somethings were best left alone for a little while longer. She wanted they to remain innocence for as long as possible. Her oldest had already been introduced at Court, but the younger one had been kept clear out of sight. Not that Rachel neglected to teach them the proper etiquette and ways of the court, but no amount of teaching could prepare them for the rumors and games played in that room. “It’ll be worth the will to resist her pull when you see their faces smiling up at you.” Easing back in her chair, she stretched out her legs knowing she was going to need to go for a run very soon. When had been the last time she had changed even? Last full moon? That was a terrible thought. “A little bath salt helps with the back pains.” Carrying a single pup had nearly stiffened Rachel’s back; she couldn’t think what twins were doing to Eva’s. Of course, she was a little smaller than most women even most female Lycans. There had been plenty of doubt if it was safe for her to have children.

"I don't rightly care. The little bitch was looking down her nose at me and being all snide and cruel. I wasn't going to let her walk all over me like that." Her tone was a little harsh as her hands balled up into tight fists. It was true enough. She didn't care if Vaan himself had been in that room. Some little hussy like Adrienne Boudoir who thought just because she was the King's Whore meant she could treat whoever she wanted however she wanted wasn't going to shove Eva around. She would just shove back. It would seem Adrienne had to learn the hard way that day. She took a deep breath, relaxing and unclenching her fists a little. She looked up to Rachel, giving a bit of an apologetic expression
"I'm sorry.. I just... don't like to be pushed around." She said softly, licking her lips. That dislike came from nearly half a century of slavery. She never took to her training very well except for maybe her pleasure training. Being shoved around only make her angry and aggressive. It had taken a lot of self control to keep from tearing Adrienne limb from limb during their meeting. So instead she lashed out with words.
She smiled faintly, stroking her stomach slowly. "Whenever I feel the pull, I just imagine the first time Rafe and I went running under the moon together. " She murmured softly closing her eyes as she turned her face upwards to a ray of light that warmed her face for a moment. She took a deep breath and looked back to Rachel. Eva's head nodded lightly when she informed her of bath salts. She didn't know what it was like to have one pup putting so much pressure on your back, but she imagined it wasn't half as painful as it was to carry twins. She rubbed her back lightly, refluffing her pillow before she sat back once more. "Rafe usually gives me a massage before bed. How did you deal with the leg cramps?" She asked calmly, brown eyes studying Rachel. The last few nights she'd been having really bad leg cramps. And there was only so much Rafe could do for them, so she tried not to make too much fuss of it when one did hit. She'd read about drinking pickle juice, and she had tried it, but she couldn't stomach enough of it to do any good.
