Here ye! Here ye! Today is a very special day on Isla de los Lobos. Today there is a wedding! But not just any wedding. The young Prince Henry is marrying the Baroness Elina Cali! The castle is full of hustle and bustle as the wedding planner Gerard and his team prepares the main hall for the wedding reception. In just minutes the wedding ceremony will begin. And a perfect day for a wedding. The sky was clear and a light breeze brushed over the people being seated for the ceremony.
The wedding of Prince Henry and Baroness Elina was held on the beach. At sunset. Henry and Elina's favorite time of the day. The altar consisted of an archway facing the sunset surf that everyone would get to look at from their seats while they watched the ceremony. The white archway was wrapped in tulle in tones of orange, pink, and purple, like the sunset. Yellow and orange orchids and yellow calla lilies that match Elina's bouquet and the bridesmaid's bouquets dot the tulle covered archway. Yellow chairs were set up in an arch with a break for the aisle in the middle of the yellow arch of chairs. Row stood white tiki torches with a pretty arrangement of calla lilies and orchids matching the alter that were wrapped around the torches.
A trio of violinists will sit nearby the alter to play Pachelbel's Canon in D Major while Elina walks down the aisle shoeless with her beautiful empire waist wedding dress. Elina does not quite seem herself though. Something is very much off between the couple. She didn't look to him as a woman about to marry her soul mate should. The young princess to be had a very stiff posture and her expression seemed very numb and a little cold as she slowly made her way down the aisle to her future husband.
Henry stood barefoot with Vaan at the alter as Elina glided down the aisle. His eyes never left her the entire ceremony. The instant she came down that aisle on George's arm there was no one else. Elina had thought they would have a priest oversee the wedding, but when Vaan offered, Elina happily accepted. Richard stood nearby behind his older brother as best man. Rachel and Elina's sister Helen stood on the other side of the alter with their bouquets and dresses Unlike Henry, Elina's gaze wandered a few times. From Henry to Vaan. To the mass of people watching them. The hands that laid in Henry's were shaking, though she did her best to hide it. When the vows came and the two of them turned to the ones holding the rings Elina began to calm. As Henry gave his vows and slipped that ring onto her finger, something in Elina's expression changed. Henry said those vows with such unwavering sincerity. Their gazes stayed locked on each other from there till the end of the ceremony.
Afterwards pictures were taken there on the beach while the guests went back to the palace to begin the celebration of the new marriage. And it is at the reception you will find the guests and the royal newlyweds.
