The day was still young as the cool winter breeze skimmed over Selena’s gently tanned skin making her smile after stepping out of her home. It was a pleasure that she no longer lived at home with her parents, as much as she loved them her mother was very strong willed and always trying to set her up on blind dates. It had gotten to that point she had wanted to slap her mother for even thinking to force her on one of the other servants at the palace. Lifting her head up, she smiled at the sun as if greeting it like a long lost lover. Who said she needed a man? Snorting, she began to walk down the path away from her small home heading into town. Her bare feet slapped against the pavement and with each step the bangles around her wrist jangled making her smile even more. Pursing her lips, Selena continued into town pondering what the gypsy Nia had told her at the market not that long ago. Then again, what was the point of getting worked up over something that was likely too far into the future for her to even understand. Shaking off those thoughts, she soon found herself in town where the plaza was slowly building up with people. She always enjoyed the Saturday crowds mostly because that was when all the best and more interesting people went into town. And the even better news? She had Saturdays off from working at the Palace. “Selena, back again to charm the people out of their hard earned money?” The band she usual danced with sat in the middle of the plaza pulling out their instruments. She laughed and walked over to them, jingling with each step causing heads of passing people to turn towards her curiosity flickering in their eyes. It wasn’t anything new for her to pop up in town on the weekend to dance around. She lived for it, needed it to help her survive the nasty comments made around the court. “They can keep their money. I come to dance.” Laughing, she sat on the edge of a step to straighten out of the belt of coins around her waist. The leader of the band, Leonard, straightened out the drums in his lap before he waved to the others to get ready. His eyes glanced to Selena as if beckoning to her to get up and move her butt around for them to gain a little extra coin. They had a small understanding. She got the joy out of dancing and the band got whatever money the crowd tossed to them. But what she didn’t like was Leonard’s pushiness lately. Throwing that thought aside for a later date to nag at him about, she rose up off the seat, rolling her hips at the same time. The steady beat of the drums were soon combined with a tambourine that instantly spoke to Selena on a level that only music could. Raising her arms above her head, she lifted her left up slightly off the ground so the foot was on the tips of her toes. The woman wasn’t even dancing yet and a crowd was forming in a large circle around her and the band.

Screams rang out around him, from all directions. Chaos, fear and panic followed and surrounded not only him but the whole market place. People ran in each and every direction trying to get too safely, trying to find their loved ones they had lost in the chaos. Buildings and other objects sat around engulfed in a blaze of fire, as other crumpled to the ground. The market place continued to burn while people ran and screamed as other chased them. Julian stood in the middle of it, his eyes closed, a smirk on his face as he took in the scene before him. He could smell the blood that already spilt on the dirt and that still pulsing inside panicked and fearful flesh. He could feel the chaos and the fear and it drove him insane. His vampiric nature taking over the moment the first beat of a heart reached his ears. His reason for being there, well his father had insisted he go out and see what his kind did, and to gain better control of his instincts. It seemed he had inherited the need for blood from his father, yet all other traits he possessed were that of his mothers. The lycan form and the characteristics, his swift speed, all from her however some things he did gain from his father as well, only less in that aspect. Now he was out trying to control his need for blood, the desire to rip someone’s throat out the instant he heard their heart beat.
The screaming continued on around him as the smell of spilt blood continued to increase. Julian was in the middle of this, trying to gain control but not at the same time. He was enjoying himself and he wanted nothing more than to finally participate in the chaos. The world seemed to slow down in that moment, everything around him moving incredibly slowly, the panicked beating of a heart pounded in his head. It grew louder the closer the person got, whoever they were. Julian focused on this, not moving as the pounding grew louder and more frantic. When the human was inches from him, about to run by, Julian’s eyes flew open as they flashed to a red colour as he took hold of the fleeing man who had not noticed Julian standing there in his panic. His fangs came out instantly before they were sunk into the pulsing vain in the man’s neck.
The intense smell of blood filled his nose that moment and Julian felt himself spinning out of control. The intense pounding continued inside his head as his eyes flew opened flashing red from the memory of that day. It had been when he was still young, somewhere in his mid 30's and still learning the perks as his father called it, of being a vampire. Some of the other vampires had taken him with them when they attacked a small village outside of Prague. That had been a time when Julian was still naive thinking he could still obtain a good grace in his fathers eyes. He took a deep breath trying to calm himself down from that memory, the one that flooded him the moment he found himself inside the crowded market place. Even after century of trying to gain control over that part of himself, Julian still found the animalistic urges appearing full force at times. The world around him slowly stopped spinning as he let himself calm down, the bust market place finally coming into focus again. He had come down here to observe the chatter and the interaction between the humans and the lycans that inhabited the island. His stay on the island had been short thus far, having arrived a few days ago, simply keeping to the shadows to observe. Having been raised in a vampire environment, it was interesting to see how the lycans lived.
Letting his eyes scan the crowd, Julian pushed the memories of that chaotic night into the back of his mind. He didn’t need that now, he didn’t want that now. He had spent the last couple of decades trying to suppress such needs and urges to kill. It wasn’t easy to do so in a large crowd like this but so far so good. Shaking his head, the young hybrid’s ears picked up on an unusually sounds not too far from where he was. Turning around, Julian’s eyes caught the sight of a crowd forming around a group of people and what looked like a dancer. Raising an eyebrow, the young hybrid walked closer to the crowd finding himself a spot to stand in as the music started up. Leaning against one of the fruit stands Julian watches in amusement as the woman in green started to shake her hips to the music.

Breathing in, Selena closed her eyes saving the warm sun on her skin while she lowered her head so her hair veiled her face. Her stomach muscles relaxed as she counted two sets of five beats from the drums, it helped ease her mind of the knowledge that she had a large set of eyes already settling over her body. When the drums began to pick up speed, she moved. Her hips flicked off to the side in a display of lean stomach muscles causing her skirt to ripple around her legs. Lifting her head, she flipped her golden hair over so it flew behind her as she began to twist and turn in a playful dance. It was a mixture of a belly dance with something more modern but as equally intriguing. It was completely her own.
Hearing the rhythmic clapping coming from the crowd, she allowed her eyes to pass over the crowd, flashing them a charming smile while something sparked, similar to lust, in her eyes. It wasn’t because she was focused on any particular person in the crowd or any face that delighted her, but simply because she loved dancing. She loved how her muscles felt while she twirled or swished her hips knowing each move was as seductive as the last one. The bangles around her wrist caught the sunlight to sparkle along with the golden pieces on her costume. Her feet slapped on the pavement as she legs pumped and pushed her body around. Selena was in her own world where the only thing that existed was dancing, the music, and the warm gentle embrace of the sun over her skin. Too soon, in her mind, the music slowed and her body followed along until she landed on the pavement in a delicate fall, deliberate on her part, just as the last note was played.
Panting softly, Selena rose off the cobblestone to bow before the crowd in a graceful roll of her muscles. A cheer rose from the lycan and human community cheering her on as coins were dropped in the open guitar case one of the band members had left there for just that reason. However, she didn’t care about the money. A beat of sweat rolled down her neck to pass between the valley of her breast while she bowed once more. Turning, she held up her hand to signal to Leonard she needed a few minutes to catch her breath. What she really needed was water, her mouth was dry as she kept the temperature rise up, whether it was from the actual weather or her body from the mild work out she didn’t know. The Leonard flashed a frown at her which she ignored while walking off to locate the nearest water vender.
Rubbing her forehead on the back of her arm, Selena slipped through the crowd, who politely stepped aside so she could get by. Her dark brown eyes were met with a man that held a very striking pair of hazel eyes leaning against a fruit vender’s booth having clearly watched her dance. Smiling, she brushed past him to speak to the vender. “Kim, can I get an apple, please?” It wasn’t water but it would do plenty. The woman, nodded passing a large green apple to Selena, who pulled out a single coin from inside her top.

Keeping to the fruit stand near the back, Julian was still able to get an interesting view of the performance. He watched as the band started playing, banging on the drums and the crowd seemed to be entranced by this. It seemed it happened often with how they waited expectedly at the young woman to start. He let his eyes trail over the crowd for a moment, seeing all eyes focused on her. How could they not be she was defiantly worth looking out. However, that was an understatement when the young woman began to dance. Julian’s blue eyes traveled back to her, taking in how her body moved with the music. It wasn’t something he encountered before, the dance moves seemed to be her own, if that could even be described as dance moves. It seemed as if her body simply came alive when the music started. Julian was intrigued and caught in the moment with everyone else around him.
All too soon, the moment was over and so was the dancing. Julian stayed where he was, his eyes not leaving the young woman. He could see her chest moving as she tried to catch her breath, and the rhythmic pounding of her heart could be heard clearly to Julian. For some reason even that seemed to follow a particular beat of music but only someone like Julian could pick up that bit. He wondered if lycans could hear heartbeats just like vampires but given that his mother hadn’t exactly been keen on educating him about his other half, well he wasn’t too certain. Only things he heard or read about were what he knew of lycans. Vampires on the other hand, well his father had been quite keen on making sure he was fully educated.
The young hybrids eyes continued to watch her body move as the young dancer headed over his way to what he assumed was the fruit stand he was leaning against. To say that Julian wasn’t completely interest in women, any women was understatement. No matter where he went he was always trying to throw his charm around at any woman that would listen. It was why when the dancer smiled at him, he grinned back turning his head towards her. still following the curves of her body as she walked. “Don’t tell me you’re done already my dear. I was just beginning to enjoy the show.” he added still grinning throwing her a charming smile as he watched the exchange between her and the fruit vendor. Julian couldn’t help but quirk an eyebrow when he watched her produce a coin from out of her top. The young hybrid began to wonder what else she had hidden in there. “Interesting place of storage if I do say so myself. Make me wonder what else you’re hiding in there.”

Still trying to catch her breath, Selena could feel the eyes following her hips as she moved away from the center of the plaza. It was nothing new, if anything she was a little flattered to have so such a large crowd to watch her dance. But oh Luna, what she would have given to escape the island and dance around the world. The band had gone back to playing music to keep the audience’s attention while she fought against dehydration under the beating sunlight. The woman had been in far too much a hurry to get to the plaza to remember to grab a water bottle, at least she had remembered to grab some money and store it away. She thanked her stars for that minor thought that morning. Blinking, Selena turned her head to see the guy she had smiled at was talking to her. There was sure plenty to look at with his blue eyes and standing a good couple of inches taller than her. He held an edge to his eyes that she couldn’t place. Clearly not the type to pick a fight with but she sure would have loved to take a bite out of him. “That was only the warm up act.” Laughing, Selena winked at the guy before licking her lips about to bite into the apple. It seemed she had grabbed his attention and the feminine side of her hummed happily at that thought. Pausing as her lips were about to touch the green skin, she glanced at him from the corner of her eyes to flash him a smirk. Oh wasn’t that the question flickering through a number of the males watching her. “I’d be happy to show you if I didn’t have to go back to dancing in a minute.” Harmless flirting, nothing wrong with that. Besides, there really wasn’t much she could hide in her top, just a few coins pressed tightly under the fabric but no one was any the wiser.
“I haven’t seen you around the island before.” Biting into the apple with a loud crunch, she stared back into his bright blue eyes finding them incredibly hard to turn away from. Why did the gypsy Nia suddenly pop into her mind right then? The woman’s words echoed in her mind like a warning but she quickly brushed them away. Licking her lip of the juice, she bowed slightly to him not wanting to shake his hand as her fingers were getting sticky from the apple juice. “I’m Selena.” Flicking her eyes back to the band, she saw Leonard tapping his wrist making her roll her eyes at his impatience. The dancer might have looked like a stripper but she wasn’t on his payroll and she rather dared him to even attempt to force her to do something she loved. However as she spoke to the guy, the music that the band was playing was already touching her inner self so her hips began to sway from side to side lazily.

Julian’s ears perked up a bit as he heard the music continue on as their main attraction seem to wonder off to do her own thing. He wondered why the band even bothered if all the money they seemed to be making was coming from the dancer. Not only was her body appealing to look at, but the way it moved with the music seemed to captivate the audience all that more. Without the dancers hips shaking, and her body bending every which way, there really wasn’t a point in paying attention to what was happening in the middle of the market place. At least that was what Julian thought at this point. He didn’t see anyone else paying much attention now that the dancer was taking a break. He wondered if it really was a break or if her set was only that short. Despite her not being in the middle of the crowd anymore, it seemed that several eyes could still be seen on the young dancer. Julian would agree with them and the outfit she was wearing defiantly did not help matters.
Watching the young dancer, Julian found himself intrigued. For one she wasn’t laughing at him for trying to flirt. It seemed that women who were happy with a mate would simply laugh and walk away or turn him down right away. However, those who weren’t happy with a mate or simply without one, tended to want to have some fun. They would either not be interested to begin with and walk away, or take the bait. In both situations Julian found himself having some fun. He would either chase after the woman for a bit until he got bored, or simply score depending on the woman. Right now he couldn’t help but grin as the young dancers eyes met his, her scent filling the air around him as he noted she was human. Not that it really mattered much given that Julian took what he could get in a sense. Brining his hand up this face, he rubbed his chin a small chuckle escaping him when he heard the dancer’s reply. “Really if that’s just the warm up act I defiantly need to see the whole show.” he stated a goofy grin on his face.
Still somewhat taken by the dancer, Julian watched her taking a bite out of the apple. He had often wondered how different it would be had he needed to stuff himself with food to eat. Of course he could have the occasionally meal here and there but it usually wasn’t something his body needed. Over the years he had found out that blood was the only thing that was needed granted he could still enjoy some kinds of foods. Just at a small portion. Once again his eyebrow quirked as Julian chuckled at the offer. ”Now who says you have to go back especially when something far more entertaining has been put on the table?” he questioned his charming smiling appearing again, his blue eyes still on her occasionally dropping to her top of lower. Being a man he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to spend quality time with an attractive woman. “That is because I arrived recently. Seems I have perfect timing.” he added referring to having arrived just when she was dancing. The young hybrid had been lurking around the island trying to pick up some information about the royal family and the people that were close to them. His eyes flickered in the same direction that Selena’s had for a moment catching the site of one of the musician who was looking their way right now. The man already annoyed him but for now he wasn’t too much of a bother. Taking Selena’s hand, Julian did what he always did, put on a charming grin before beginning her hand to his lips, kissing the back of it. “Julian pleased to meet you Selena.” he added his eyebrow rising when the young woman’s hips started swaying. “It seems your attention is needed elsewhere.” he added noticing how antsy Leonard was getting.

It wasn’t every day Selena was paid attention to by an attractive looking guy. Alright, that was a lie. At the palace she had plenty of male eyes watching her and she knew exactly what they wanted. Something she wasn’t going to give up without knowing their full heart was in it. Which might explain why she was both a virgin still and very alone. Besides, she needed a little fun and it looked like this guy was going to be more than willing to tease and flirt right back with her. Slyly, her eyes skimmed him all over as a strange wave of euphoria rolled over her but she was positive she had never seen him before. Maybe it was the eyes, blue eyes weren’t rare on the island but his shade seemed to click with something in her mind. Where had she seen that same color of rich ocean blue before?
“I can’t guarantee it’ll be as good as that first one. Most of my dances aren’t choreographed.” Yes, Selena did simply dance with the music. She listened to it and let her body just move however it felt was right for the beat and tempo. In her mind, she liked to think of it like a new lover for each song. There was no telling what was going to happen until she did it. Titling her head to slightly, Selena’s hair was flipped over to one side while blinking at him before speaking in a teasing tone. “Are you sometime more entertaining than dancing under the sun in an outfit my mother would never approve of?” A smirk began to tug at her lips as her head straightened out after noting his eyes kept drifting all over her body. The outfit screamed attention seeker to anyone that didn’t know belly dancing and it grabbed plenty of attention when she pulled one out on bright sunny days or rare moments at the palace.
“Depends on what you call perfect timing. If you mean my dancing, well it’s not that hard to find me dancing around the island. You just have to know where to look.” Flashing a cute smile, she was clearly having a good time just talking to the guy. She was curious to know if he was human, vampire, or a lycan. Mostly she was afraid that if this guy was the one Madam Nia spoke of, she might run for the hills. Then again, she still had no idea what she meant by half blood. For some reason, she couldn’t possible think it meant a male that was half vampire and half werewolf since those two species got along as well as owls and mice. Someone always tended to get eaten.
“The pleasure is all mine, Señor.” Her Spanish rolled off her tongue in the perfect accent she had naturally had since birth practically. Watching Julian take her hand into his, she had to laugh as he placed a gentle kiss on the back of her hand. His lips felt really good against her skin. Oh how she wished she was much more willing to lay down with any guy like her sisters had been before they both mated. “Oh, Leonard can wait. He acts like he won’t earn enough money to whore around town for the new few days since I won’t sleep with him.” Blushing at the words that came out, she laughed behind the hand that came up to cover her lips. The woman tended to speak too freely sometimes about what she knew was right or wrong. “I’m sorry. That was a little much for me to say.” Lowering her hand, she continued to nibble on the apple while connecting eyes with Julian. It didn’t even register in her mind that her hips were rolling from side to side almost begging for someone to grab hold of them to attempt to control her.
Quickly throwing the apple core away, she came back to Julian and looked him up and down without even trying to hide it. She wasn’t eying him for sex but for an idea that suddenly came into her mind. “Would you actually do me a favor? It’s nothing drastic, I swear.” Selena gave him a warm smile trying to get him to trust her for a very tiny favor. “It’ll be fun, promise.” Not bothering to let him say no, she reached down to take his hand with every intention of taking him towards the center of the plaza to dance with her. Well…more like for him to stand there and look good while she danced around…on him. And the extra bonus? It would annoy the crap out of Leonard. “All you have to do is stand and look pretty.” Winking at him, she flicked her head towards the center of the plaza, completely ignoring the glare being thrown at her by Leonard as he rose up from his spot with his bongos.

The moment his mother had come back into the picture, Julian knew that he was going to regret going with her. For one, he would have to be in the same zip code as her previous Henry whom he had grown to recent and hate over the year. How could he not with how the woman kept comparing everything he did to her first offspring. At some point anyone would snap having enough of the ridicule feeling like he wasn’t enough or that there was no point in trying anymore. However, his father had insisted that he accompany the woman if not to merely keep an eye on her. Julian figured the least he could get out of this trip would be to get whatever he could out of his brothers grasp. He wanted him to suffer and if that meant taking away things he loved, Julian was willing to do that. His hatred had manifested to that point, whether it was Rebeckah’s doing on purpose or just happened do to her lack of motherly instincts.
Now Julian was quite intrigued with how his time on the isle was going. He hadn’t expected to enjoy himself this way. No he expected to get this thrills from stealing things from his half brother not to mention annoying the hell out of him. The one good thing about being a hybrid in this moment was that he did technically have immunity without anyone really knowing. If anyone tried to kill him, or attack him, it would be like declaring war on the vampires, at least that was how his father had put it. Julian’s thoughts had turned to the conclusion that he really could make things on the island that much more interesting. For now, he was going to enjoy the beautiful dancer that he was currently chatting up. Hearing Selena admitting that she her dance might not be as good at the first one, only got a chuckle out of Julian as he tilted his head to the side, still taking in her form. “I highly doubt that my dear, but we will never know until you start dancing again. Granted I have to admit, I don’t think the dancing it exactly what most people are paying attention to.” he added knowing he had been paying attention to it somewhat. Her body being able to move like that was quite intriguing and Julian couldn’t help but keep his eyes on the young woman. Even now as her hips moved to the little bit of music that the band was playing. For some reason, he didn’t think she was aware of what it was she was doing. The smirk only widened at the next bit when Julian chuckled playfully. “I could be my dear, you will just have to decide which direction to head in, go back to dancing or take a handsome stranger up on his offer.” he suggested wondering if she was willing to take a risk or not. One would never know at times like these and Julian was sure boosting his own ego to make it swing his way. Julian’s mood was quite improving at the moment. He wasn’t thinking vengeful thoughts at the moment nor did he feel the need to break something that might be Henry’s. No instead, he was enjoying the chat with the dancer named Selena as well as the show she was putting on. It was nice for a change to be thinking about something else. Something other than revenge and how worthless he really felt. Problem was those feelings would come back soon enough, once he was done flirting and trying to turn his charm on the woman. It usually only lasted for a brief moment. “Little bit of both, who would have thought I’d get to be entertained by a beautiful exotic dance when I decided to explore the market place.” he pointed out the cute little smile she gave after only drawing more of his attention. This place was defiantly interesting to say the least. The little bit of gossip got the young hybrid’s eyes to travel towards the middle of the market once again, landing upon the so called Leonard. Julian wondered why anyone would even consider bedding the man given how unappealing he looked. However, it seemed that his question was answered with the next bit about money. It seemed the only reason that would explain it was that he merely paid for it himself. Julian’s ego merely grew as he chuckled at this, brining his hand up to his face rubbing his chin again. “Guess I can see why he would be desperate to have you dancing so much, must cost a pretty penny to convince any woman to sleep with him, even at a cost.” he added not caring much to her slip of the tongue. After all he was looking for things to bring back to this mother that might be of interest. He had yet to find anything thus far aside from little bits about the royal family and who was in it.
Bringing his attention back toward Selena, Julian resisted for now to grab a hold of her swaying hips. It was hard to do so given how they moved in a teasing manor, as if almost calling him to be grabbed. He was on the verge of doing so, however Selena’s question of a favour got his attention else were for now. Instead, he looked down upon her quirking a curious eyebrow wondering what it was the young human dancer had in mind. When his hand was taken, Julian looked over to Leonard who was not glaring at them as the proposal of being a prop in her act was made. “I think I can manage that, as long as I’m able to let my hands wander where they may when it comes to your body.” he added letting her lead him towards the middle of the market where the band was. While he walked, Julian grinned his hands falling onto her hips moving with them as they swayed. The crowd once again seemed to part for Selena as they passed before stopping in the center of the plaza where Julian pressed himself up against Selena’s back, his strong arm encircling around her waist while he let his head drop to her ear. “Oh I am defiantly going to enjoy this, my dear. ” he whispered moving his hips with hers for the moment not the least bit taken by all the extra eyes that were on him now as well. If she wanted to put on a show, Julian would defiantly not object to helping out simply because he could.

The idea to dance with Julian was completely innocent, for the most part. Selena thought it might interest the crowd to see something a little different than just her dancing around on her own and if she got to place her hands on the guy for a few minutes more fun for her. He just looked too mouthwatering to resist. She had no intentions of sleeping with him; the young woman was human not naïve and not the type to fall prey to sweet words and charming smiles. However, she’d play her role as the dancer just to have a moment to rub up against his tight body.
Smirking at him, Selena placed her hands on her hips even that touch didn’t force them to stay still for too long. Rolling the proposal in her mind, she didn’t see too many down sides of him letting his hands wander if she was going to dance all over him. “Deal, but no grabbing the girls.” Her eyes glanced down at her chest to make sure he understood her minor condition. There was a big difference between a stripper and a dancer, grabbing of the breast was one of them. Passing through the crowd, she felt the hands on her hips nearly making her jump in surprise but she quickly calmed down by glancing back to see it was just Julian. In all her time, she’d never had anyone in the crowd grab her inappropriately but there was a first for everything. It shouldn’t have relieved her so much that it was this strange guy holding on to her nor should it have made her heart speed up.
At the center of the plaza, Selena took a step away from Julian only to be forced back to him by his arms causing another shot of desire down her spine. Her breath caught in her throat as his breath tickled the side of her neck and ear. “That’ll make two of us then.” It was a struggle to speak straight feeling his body pressed up against her back instantly making her feel smaller than she tended to think of herself as. Trembling, she couldn’t stop her hips as they rolled in perfect time with Julian’s behind her. Her skin flushed as a heat wave rolled over her body as his firm hold over her hips tempting her to give in without much protest to his earlier suggestion.
The music starting up forced Selena to drag her mind away from Julian’s body rolling against hers, to relax herself as one of her legs rose up to point straight up in the air not even struggling to hold the limb there for a moment before she spun out of his arms. Turning to face him, her hips swirled in a sultry teasing motion as her hands roamed over her sides to slide into her hair. The music speed up, a steady thumbing that seemed to echo her heart beat while she moved back to his side. By this point, she forgot about the crowd, forgot about herself except her love to dance. Pressing her front to Julian’s side, she slide down his body with her hands trailing behind at a slower speed over his arms until her body rested on her knees.
Flashing a wink at him, Selena twirled on her knees to she came around to his back side, her hands resting on his calves. Rising up, she made sure her body brushed against Julian’s back, a small payback for him doing it to her earlier. A very interesting thought tickled the back of her mind making her smirk as the crowd cheered. Almost in a perfect single motion, her hands curled around the collar of the leather jacket he was wearing and whipped it clean off him. Quickly, she spin just out of his reach to twirl the jacket around her waist. The dark color began to morph, lightening as she turned faster and faster on the balls of her feet. Sparks seemed to be literally jumping off her finger tips until a small explosion popped from the jacket to show that in her hands wasn’t a leather jacket anymore but a sheer lime green piece of fabric. It was nothing more than a parlor trick, the young human woman didn’t know real magic but she knew the value of the art of illusions while flashing a very cunning but hot smile at Julian.

The attention of the crowd was something that Julian could not just push to the back of his mind. It was clearly evident that the addiction of a male counterpart to Selena’s show only caught the attention of the rest of the crowd. Julian did not mind at all. He was used to having all eyes on him, not just because he was quite the looker but because he was a hybrid. Back at home with his father everyone was always looking at him. No matter how many people were in the room they would be staring at him because face it he was the freak. He wasn’t vampire completely and he wasn’t lycan either. He was something all to his own, and people didn’t like different often. Here however, no one knew what he was. He didn’t have a sign on his head that said he was a hybrid nor did it say he was part vampire. All that the crowd knew right now was that he was going to be part of the belly dancers show.
Not really being the shy type one bit, Julian knew he was going to enjoy himself. Despite not being able to grab the girls as Selena told him, Julian knew there were other ways he could enjoy himself until later on. Of course he would not pass up the opportunity to make even more people in the crowd jealous the he was simply dancing with the exotic belly dancer. How could he not, his ego was already inflated beyond reason and this would simply add to it. The moment his arm went around her he could hear her breath catching, as a chuckle escaped him. He could never get enough of having a woman in his arms, their bodies were just prefect. With his mouth still near her ear, Julian took a moment to playfully nip at her ear lobe wanting her to continue to tease the young woman as much as he could. Letting his own body move to the music, he kept his hold on her hips, his body pressing against her to show the young woman just how much he was enjoying her and the feel of her warm body against his.
An eyebrow quirked up when he noticed her leg point straight up without much hesitation or effort, as if it was made to move that way. The grin on his face only showed just how amused he was by this as his hand slide from its resting place on her hip, down to her thigh moving along the leg that was pointed straight up. Oh how he had been fortunate enough to obtain such an interesting form of entertainment. However, before he could let his hands explore anymore of the dancers body, she pulled away from him. Letting his arms fall back down to his sides, Julian rubbed his chin grinning as his eyes took in the way her hips swirled in what was obviously a teasing manor. The music and the beat of her heart seemed to sync into one beat as he continued to watch, the crowd growing around them. The money the group was ranking up now as the show only started was quite funny if one really thought about it.
The whole time Selena moved to the music, moved around him, Julian’s blue orbs never left her body. He stood rooted in one spot, his legs somewhat apart as he took to a comfortable stance so he could watch without shifting around too much. Julian had to give the woman credit she might not have anything rehearsed but she sure as hell knew what it was she was doing. Or at least her body knew which way to go and where to press to make it that much harder to resist. Feeling her press against his back when she brought herself back up to a standing position only got Julian more worked up. He was enjoying himself and his eyes flashed red for a moment as his animalist urges peek out on the surface. For now, he was able to control himself. What happened next was quite the surprise as his favourite leather jacket was stripped off him instantly. Spinning around quickly, Julian quirked an eyebrow at the dancer wondering what she was up to. He made a move at first to reach out for her, however the dancer was a few steps ahead of him, spinning out of his reach. His eyes widened when his favourite jacket disappeared turning into a piece of fabric right in front of his eyes. Part of him knew that this was a trick; however it was still a bit unnerving to have it vanish before his eyes. He wasn’t too happy about that given it was one of his favourites that he’s had for a long time now.
Raising an eyebrow, Julian smirked playfully seeing her cunning smile. His eyes never left hers, looking like a predator coming after his prey. However, it was play as he quickly closed the distance between them the music still going on around them. A playful growl escaped him as his arm went around her waist, his hand resting on her back before he dipped the woman back leaning forward onto her body as they stood. “I better be getting that back my dear.” he whispered so only she could hear him. He took in the music and let his body move with it not like hers but in a similar fashion, letting it take over before he brought them both back upright. Moving his hips with hers to the music, Julian grinned sliding back away from Selena, his hand holding on to hers before spinning the dancer around. Still moving to the music, the young hybrid moved up against her again, holding her hips as he mimicked her movements as best he could. He wasn’t amazing but he knew how to dance, given how many woman he had tried to impress in his lifetime. When the music sped up, Julian pulled back watching her again a smirk on his face.

Laughing softly, Selena’s knees quaked slightly at the nip to her ear feeling her stomach clench as over a dozen emotions swirled around her body. The most dominate one was desire, something she’d never felt much of around the palace. There was pretty faces at the palace, sure but none that she could trust honestly. Julian seemed to already be enjoying himself and she hadn’t even started dancing yet. However, right then, the world around her melted away, she didn’t notice the constant glaring from Leonard or the cat calls from the crowd as they senses the sexual tension building up between the dance partners. The only thing her mind was focused on was the steady music and the warm body pressed against her back, feeling far more intimate then some of her boyfriends had ever been. But for the young woman, it was always like that when it came to dancing. Her own face showed a small surprise when Julian began to move along with the music in a pretty good rhythm, one that fit in nicely with her own.
Taking note of the butterflies swarming in her belly, Selena tried to not focus on the large warm hand that Julian had slid up her leg that pointed daintily straight to the heavens. If she let her mind linger too long on that, she’d slip up and miss the timing for where to place her feet. Of course, she could feel Julian’s eyes roaming over her body as she enticed him with a flick her waist one way then the other which she tried very hard not to pay too closely to. Over the music, she heard the faint cheer of the crowd but held eye contact with him, daring him to look away for even a second while she danced around and then on him. It showed with each precise muscle that twitched in time with the music how often the young woman danced both around the town plaza and on her own. In some ways, it was in her blood to let the music take control of her body just for fun.
The crowd roared when the jacket was removed since the dance seemed to be turning into a sort of strip tease since he only stood in a shirt and jeans. The thought to remove his shirt egged at the back of her mind until she brushed it aside like dust from her brain, a thought like that could cause a woman to go into a coma since she had felt just had lean and toned Julian was under his clothes. Laughing again, Selena remained just out of his reach, the green long fabric in her hand as the ends waved at him in a taunting manner. Throwing back her head, her back arched up before taking the fabric above her head then twirling it around her in a wide circle, a sort of barrier between her and any actions Julian might take in order to attempt to take ownership of the ‘jacket’ back.
Selena was amazed that Julian was suddenly advancing on her. The look in his eyes sent her heart racing at a different speed, much quicker than the music not out of fear. No, she was excited, eager at the thought he might be able to keep up with her crazy moves. There was no time to escape his reach this time while she spin, he managed to snatch her by the waist forcing her to stop with her facing him. Wide eyes stared up at his when she was dipped back, clearly not use to having someone hold her weight with such ease. She wasn’t heavy but then again, she didn’t normally dance with a partner to often either if ever. Quickly recovering, she slipped the fabric over his shoulders to pull his head closer to hers, a warm smile etched on her lips happy to still tease him. “In good time, yes, Diablo.” As she spoke, one leg of hers rose up his leg to wrap around his thigh to hang there lazily.
Once more, Selena stood upright as her leg sinfully slid down Julian’s leg while rolling her hips into his. Her hands left the fabric on his shoulders while one hand took the liberty of skimming through his hair. The other hand rested right on his chest, her fingers slightly curled into his shirt. Her heart had evened out after finding her steady calm self in the mist of the heated dancing. She was almost sad when Julian pulled away but she maintained her smile while easily spinning. Spinning had to be her favorite thing, it made her feel something close to flying or freedom at letting herself get lost in the blurring of the world. This time when they came back together, she placed her back to his front, swaying her hips in that all too familiar motion of a belly dancer. Knowing the song was close to ending, she turned on her heels to face him, nearly laughing at the grin on his face.
The music speed up making it seem like there was more to the music, but it stopped abruptly with a single deep note, clearly ending the song. Panting softly, Selena ended it by curling a leg around Julian’s waist, higher up then where the one on his thigh had been, and dipping back after pulling the fabric off his shoulders to let it flitter behind her. Holding that pose for a moment, she closed her eyes savoring the cheering and thunderous applause coming from the large crowd that had grown since they’d started dancing.

There was a confidence in Julian that would not really be explained given his situation with his parents. Neither of them had really nurtured him as a person instead using him until they were done with him. He was a weapon or a play thing in their eyes nothing more. With that any person could feel as if they weren’t confident about themselves in many ways. However, Julian seemed to be that opposite, at least that was how he portrayed himself to everyone. Despite his situation, the young man had quite the ego something he often stroked himself in order to simply make himself feel better. No one knew about the darkness that haunted him, that took over at times and made him do thing that one should not. It was there, lurking underneath the surface, underneath the pretty face and the charming smile. It was there for a moment but one had to look at the exact moment or they would miss it.
Right now, none of that could be seen as the young man took to the music deciding to add a bit to the show. He could simply just stand there and enjoy the teasing show the woman was putting on, or he could take all advantage he could to touch her. Dancing meant being close with a partner and Julian could use that as the perfect excuse to explore the woman’s body. Even if Julian had just met the young woman, he seemed to be doing pretty well at keeping up with her movements and adding a little bit of his own. With his beloved jacket being held hostage, Julian could had to say he did find himself a whole lot cooler. He wasn’t used to be on a tropical island for this long amount of time. The heat was horrible to get used to and with how much he was moving around now; well it would only get worse.
His next few calculated moves seemed to be a surprise to the young dancer as her eyes widened at the dip. The man simply continued to grin mischievously as he took in her movements and tried to go with it as she continued on to the music. He was doing quite well at keeping himself calm and controlled around the woman that seemed to be able to light a fire in him instantly. So far, he managed to see calm as if nothing that happened was really effecting him, however the moment her fingers found themselves in his hair, a low growl of content escaped him, his eyes half shutting as his natural instincts threatened to bubble to the surface. He found it to be too much for him at that moment and pulled away from the warm body to peel his shirt off quickly. The fabric was thrown to the ground for now, his body already forming beads of sweat at having been out in the sun for this long. Lucky for him the young hybrid wasn’t cursed with his father’s genes and inability to go out in the sun. His decision proved to be a well calculated one as not only did his movement pick up causing him to get warmer, the crowd was defiantly enjoying the show all that more. Not only that but it gave Selena something to look at as she danced. The man knew he was appealing and didn’t hide it at all.
Julian picked up that the music was coming to an end, with how she was dancing and the overall beat of the music. Knowing it was slowly coming to a wrap up; the young hybrid wondered what it was that the dancer would do for a finish. Hell he was hoping for another dance so he could simply watch her. However he was also eager and tempted to see if she’d really take him up on his offer to venture down a different path away from the market. That would have to be asked later on once this dance was done. Right now he was focused on how her body was moving against his, and how it flowed flawlessly to the music. Not having been winded at all by the dancing, Julian just grinned down at the young woman as he held her up with one hand spread out on her bare back. The other one he chose to trail from her neck, along her collar bone, down between her breasts, dipping along her stomach before finishing off to be placed firmly on her thigh around his waist. He held her like that while the song finished and the smirk on his face only got wider as he pulled Selena up towards him pressing their bodies as close as they could get leaving his lips mere inches from hers.
Being that close he could feel her heart beating quickly in her chest, and her warm breath coming out harshly as she tried to catch it. Not only that but he could feel the warmth of her skin, the heat radiating from all the dancing she had been doing. There were beads of sweat already forming on his own bare chest as he let the music disappear into the audience. The crowd around them seemed to have enjoyed the show as they applauded a few catcalls came their way Julian figuring it was more for Selena as she really was a looker. Not taking his eyes off her, the young hybrid let her leg drop to the floor before he took her hand kissing the back of it again. “Glad I could help you with your performance my dear. Might want to invest in a bag to hold any earnings you’ve made, I highly doubt all of it could fit in your bra.” he added teasingly keeping his blue eyes on her. He couldn’t take them off the young woman finding that his stay at the isle would defiantly be an interesting one if he continued to run into such situations and woman. “I am still curious as to what else you might have hiding in there Mon Amie…” he reminded her his finger trailing lazily up the curve of her stomach to stop at the beginning of the top piece of her costume.

The discarding of Julian’s shirt was a new addition Selena hadn’t been expecting. The fact he could dance was already turning her on since she thought he’d be one of those guys with two big left feet and would only stand there while she teased him. The second that shirt was pulled off, it was almost in slow motion as her eyes lingered hungrily over each dip of his abs right up to his bare shoulders. There was no doubt in her mind the guy would give a seriously good time to any woman whom stumbled across his path. Her mouth definitely went try as they continued to dance and she was forced to press right up against him, skin to skin. As her mind headed straight for the gutters, her body was still far too deeply involved with the music to allow her to stop or trip. The only way someone could tell her mind wasn’t in a very holy place was the faint blush over the tops of her cheeks and along the bridge of her nose.
For her, the crowd was gone in her mind. Her eyes were fixed on Julian’s, a mighty big struggle not to let them drift farther down his exposed skin. Holding her pose, her breathing stopped all together at the hand trailing over her neck forcing goose bumps to break out over her legs. Licking her lip, she held his eyes but could feel the hand moving down, past her collar bone to pass between her breasts forcing her to arch up even more towards the hand clearly wanting more. When the hand gripped firmly around her thigh, her body jerked slightly so her leg tightened around his waist, forcing his core closer to hers. She would have been content to hang like that for another moment longer but Julian had other plans as his hand at her back pushed her up. Her lower lip trembled at the first contact his skin made with hers and nearly crumbled to the floor finding herself mere inches from his lips. There was no stopping her eyes from taking in the soft look of his lips, how tempting it would have been to push up slightly on her tip toes to press her lips against his. Just to see if there were as soft as they looked.
Drops of sweat rolled over Selena’s skin, a poor attempt at her body trying to cool itself off. What she needed was an ice cold lake to dunk her whole body in and a mental scrubber to remove some images from her mind, starting with Julian’s bare chest. The way he had moved against her during that dance, it had her eager for a second dance but in a more private location. Lowering her leg back to the floor, she swallowed as the world came back into focus making her glance at the crowd that was going nuts and dropping money in the opening guitar case to the point it was almost half way full. Blinking, she blushed when the kiss was pressed to her hand in an old world style of showing thanks. “The pleasure was mine. Thank you for being a good sport.” Laughing, she seemed to be shaking off the strange desire that had wrapped around her moments before to return to the land of normality. “I don’t need a bag. I don’t dance for the money. I just love to dance.” Flashing a warms smile at him, she shrugged unsure of how to explain the need to dance to him. It was something she felt the need to do, like it was her only way to keep living.
Those eyes staring so intensely at her caused Selena’s hormones to start raging once again. Her fought her leg’s sudden desire to collapse at Julian’s feet. That would have been far too cliché for her to pull off. “Do you really want to know?” Oh Luna, what kind of trouble was Selena about to get into now? The idea of letting Julian get away with anything was exciting and something she wouldn’t normally do. It was tempting. So tempting she was mere moments away from throwing him down on the floor to have her fun with him. But did she really want to end up as some distance memory for him and a quick afternoon of playtime for her? Half of her whispered, yes! Her mouth went dry taking note of the hand climbing up her body like some snake to stop at the edge of her top. The pulse at her neck as working overtime, dancing under her skin begging for him to do something.
“I don’t do sex with no strings attached. I’m sorry.” Offering him a sad smile, she shrugged and turned to head away from the plaza. Instantly, she missed the heat that came from his body. Glancing back over his shoulder, her eyes almost screamed for him to say something. Her will was close to the edge of breaking.

Despite the many years Julian had already roamed the earth; it was still hard for him at times to contain himself within a fairly large crowd. He could feel the blood pumping through each person’s veins, and hear the rhythm of their heart beats as it pumped blood through their bodies. Depending on what they were doing or feeling, he could pick up the quickest or the slowest pulse and it often drove him crazy. In the beginning of his life, he would do things as his father had taught him. However, when he found out his fathers intentions for him to simply be a weapon and nothing more, Julian changed his ways completely. He did the exact opposite of what he was taught, and drinking human blood only came on occasion. That was a habit he would not kick completely no matter how hard he tried. No one knew what he was going through each time he was in a crowd resisting his natural instincts to kill or drain someone of their blood. It was how he was. However, the crowd around them right now seemed to disappear. Julian’s focus was more on the attractive belly dancer he was currently dancing with. If what he was doing could be dancing. The young hybrid was mainly using her invitation to explore her body while watching it move to the music.
A smirk appeared on his face as Selena answered his questions about what else she was hiding with another one of her own. He quirked his eyebrows his eyes never leaving the young woman’s as he listened to her. “I wouldn’t have asked had I not.” he replied to her question still watching her curiously. It seemed as if she might be thinking about it; however something was keeping her back. What he wouldn’t know or really care about just meant he needed to work his charm a bit more. Before he could get much else out of her, Selena stated she didn’t do sex without strings before heading away from the plaza. Such a statement wasn’t new to Julian; he had convinced enough women in his time to sleep with him eventually. That was what he was planning to do now. That and she still had his jacket which was more than enough reason to follow her. Not to mention she was simply intriguing to say the least.
Looking to the crowd for a moment, he wondered where his shift had gone when he discarded it, before starting his way after Selena. His pace was a lot slower and because of that he was able to see the main musician crossing the plaza as well, his focus on Selena. The man’s name slipped his mind the moment it had been mentioned seeing as he wasn’t too interested in the idiot. His frown and determined pace was something that did catch his attention as he continued to head towards where Selena was now. The crowd had gone back to what they were doing, some waiting around close by to see if there would be anymore entertainment or not.
Rubbing his face, Julian kept his quizzed look as the human; Leonard was it, finally caught up with the dancer. Leonard or whatever his name was, caught hold of Selena’s arm his face quite displeased that she seemed to be walking away. Despite the distance, Julian could hear the conversations as if he was standing there right beside them. ”Where are you going? Were not done? Not after that! Did you know how much more money we can make!” he hissed trying to get his point across without yelling so that everyone around them could hear. The whole scene rubbed Julian the wrong way. He had never been found of handling any woman like that, but over the years he had encounter many enough men to know his point of view wasn’t seen the same way by everyone. Getting to where they were, Julian stopped his bare arms crossing over his chest as he watched the two. “That’s no way to handle a lady, I suggest you take your hand off her…” he stated calmly waiting to see what he’d do. If anything he could simply break his hand off and eat him for dinner later on.

Passing a glance once more over her shoulder, Selena mildly regretted her outburst referring to no sex with no strings attached. Julian looked like he’d be able to give her a hell of a time in bed. Then again, being a virgin still she doubted she’d be able to appreciate it. Oh well, sometimes there would be opportunities in life she would have to just pass up no matter how much one side of her brain screamed in protest. Curling her fingers around the bright green fabric still in her hand, she had completely forgotten about Julian’s jacket and the little parlor trick she’d pulled on it. If he was smart, he’d come after her to take possession of it before she disappeared with the piece of clothing for the rest of his life.
Taking another step away with every intention of going home to shower, Selena’s eyes widened as something grabbed her arm forcing her to halt with a soft cry in shock. She looked down at the hand, recognizing the calluses along the index finger and thumb. “Leonard, what’s wrong?” Looking him in the eyes, she was puzzled by the obvious pissed off expression blanketing his normally calm face she was used to. Had it been a bad thing to dance with Julian? The crowd had loved it, they were crying out for more.
“What are you talking about Leonard?” Selena gasped as her arm was gripped in an iron hold by him, sometimes she tended to forget how strong lycans could be until one decided to use their strength against her. “Let go! That hurts!” Her arm was starting to protest the hold, turning red around the area that the musician held. Tears began to swell up around her eyes while she took her other hand to attempt to break Leonard’s hold. There hadn’t been a time when she thought he’d stop being so damn greedy, but she had never dreamed about him turning on her like this. “I don’t care about the money. Let go!”
The deep voice from behind Leonard caused both him and Selena to glance over to see Julian standing there, bare chest with one aggressive look on his face. “Look, buddy, it was nice of Lena to invite you to dance but your time is up. We’re having a business talk here.” Selena’s eyes narrowed at Leonard’s words and the stupid nickname, she hated nicknames and the way it came from his mouth. It sounded dirty like he was taking some claim over her. Damn lycan bastard taking advantage of her human weaknesses. Gasping, her eyes watered over as his fingers tightened around her arm. “Leonard…stop.” For some reason, the guy simply ignored her cries to focus solely on Julian. The fact he was still holding her so tightly while she struggled against him really rubbed Selena the wrong way. That feeling of helplessness never sat well in her mind.
By this point, Selena’s mind didn’t pay any attention to the crowd still lingering around the plaza hoping for another act. She was in the mist of making sure she didn’t end up with a broke limb because of Leonard’s strange actions. Turning her deep brown eyes up to Julian, she silently pleaded for a little help. She had no right to ask for another favor but the young woman was desperate for some relief. The green fabric was still fluttering in her hand that was trying to push off the hand keeping her arm in the tight hold.
