Wolf & Werewolf form: In her wolf form, Rachel might seem rather small and even underweight but she makes up for that in speed with her body being wrapped in lean muscle. Her fur is a very striking shade of strawberry blonde, only a few shades darker than her natural hair color. Her blue eyes stay the same in both wolf and werewolf form, possible brighter than her human eyes. As a werewolf, she stands close to 7 feet even. She’s still very lean but her hips flare out as if trying to make up for her lack of a curvy human body.

who you really are...
Personality: Rachel is a very strong woman who is very good at dishing out whatever she believes needs to be said to anyone. In her mind, she thinks of herself as a selfish woman every time she nags her husband about all the work he goes through because of his brother. In reality, she barely ever brings up the topic of Richard’s work knowing he’s already stressed enough.
The amount of love she gives to her daughters has no end or beginning and she’s just as loyal to them as she is to the King or her husband. That doesn’t mean she’s going to bend over and submit to anyone’s will like a puppy. Rachel has a strong will and stands up for her beliefs even if it goes against the norm. The only expectation is when those beliefs might get her killed, those times her tongue is a little more bound to even letting the whole court know anything they shouldn’t.

History: Born only 65 years ago, Rachel is still a young woman even in the eyes of the Lycan court. The marriage between her and Richard was decided the moment she was born and the King learned she was a female from a family in his court whose loyalties were in need of rewarding. From a young age of 5, she was able to change into her wolf form as easy as any born pup with only a small bit of control needed. However, her werewolf form took much more control to maintain her mind over her instincts to hunt and kill.

As she grew up, her parents taught her the ways of the court in what she could say and what was forbidden to ever leave her lips. It was a tough time for Rachel to keep from blurting out her own opinion about the unfair bias opinion the King had about other races mostly the vampires. How was his thinking any different from humans’ opinions of Lycans? Thankfully, that thought stayed in her mind and never on her lips. Instead, she took the time to learn as much about Vaan as possible. From the background, she was able to catch glimpses of her future husband but they never had time to chat much when they were younger. He always seemed constantly chasing after his brother and trying to appease his father. When she finally hit 18 years of age, they two of them were formally introduced but weren’t given much time to get to know one another. It wasn’t until she started hinting sweetly while in the King’s presence about the better chance of her having children if she knew her future husband that Richard and her were able to steal a few hours together every day. In those few hours, Rachel slowly really began to come to love her future mate and everything he stood for.

Her time in court taught Rachel how much she hated women that played nice to gain favors and gifts, namely Lady Adrienne. The biggest pain in her side was watching her sweet act before the King but snarling like some money grabbing bitch whenever he looked away. It pained her to see her future father-in-law played for a fool and tried her hardest without being too blunt to show him what the gold digging hoe was really like.

The mating rites between Rachel and Richard were consummated when she was about 40 years old. It took ten years for their first child, Nevaeh, to be born and Rachel put the blame on Richard’s workload but wouldn’t have changed it for the world. Only three years later, their second daughter, Titania, was born. Right now, she only wants her daughters to grow up with as little influence from the courts as possible. There is little doubt in her mind, the King would use them as pawns if the chance was needed. Thus only Nevaeh was ever introduced to her grandfather while Titania has been kept out of the lime light.
