Personality: Ia is a strong, smart young woman whose greatest attributes are an easy-going nature with a loving heart and easy smile. She is also determined and stubborn; if she sets her mind to somethings, be damned whomever gets in her way. But she has her downfalls tied to a need to please those she cares about and if she fails her emotions can jerk her around.

History: Ia was only a few hours old when she was mysteriously left on the threshold of her future before the orphanage of the Isla de los Lobos. All that was left to hint to her shadowed family and short past was a small scrap of paper with her full name scrawled upon it in a curious script, Ia 'Alohilani Song. As the girl grew older, she became frustrated to find her surname happened to be an incredibly common name and would help her very little in trying to find her family. But she was determined to find her parents or at least a distant family member to figure out her past and continues to look when she has the time and resources.

Despite this search for her family, Ia was still a fairly happy child, which could probably be because she was simply an optimistic girl. She found enthusiasm in the strangest things and seemed always happy. Because of how out-going she was, she drew to her a few good friends amongst the other orphans and was content, until a dare with her friends went sour. Just past her thirteenth birthday and foolish enough to do stupid things to earn her peers' approval, Ia agreed to walk the forest on a full moon night when the legendary lycans of the isle are said to roam. She hadn't meant to place herself in the way of the lone wolf's hunt, but she got in the way and was accidently bitten.

The werewolf yelled at the young girl after he transformed back to his human form. In pain from the bite, Ia could do nothing but lay curled up and cry silently as his harsh words rang through her thoughts, but he finally calmed and drew her into his arms. He whispered he was sorry, but he hadn't wanted to change her and had been mad for the accident. He told her it'd be alright and that he'd help her through the pain and confusion. He helped her back to the orphanage and disappeared silently like the wolf he is.

If it weren't for the bite and pain, Ia wouldn't have even believed it'd happened and she realized the following day that he'd never told her his name.

True to his word, the werewolf returned and helped guide her through her first horrid transformation and continued to help her afterwards. He didn't tell her his name for several years, after she'd left the orphanage, and after she'd found herself falling in love with the man.

Their relationship blossomed as her skill in her transformations did and after several years of formal, but quiet, courtship, he brought her with him to the Court where he introduced her to his life and taught her what she needed to know.

Nearly a year ago, he'd proposed, and much to his parents' disapproval, she'd agreed. She was working to prove to her soon-to-be in-laws that she could be a good match for their son while she did what she could to avoid her fiancee's elder brother and became close with her soon-to-be sister-in-law.
